The hype has just gotten crazy, personally i’ve been stocking up on the older japanese sets (swsh/early sv), not in a rush to pick up the newer ones as i know most likely they would be reprinted at some point
@@jankomeisel9568 depends on the set and it does change depending on the cycle. Tera festival = very difficult. However when i went to pokemon centers and shops, they had plenty of super electric breaker and less desirable sets. With the current market now though, it looks like it’s going to be rough for upcoming sets for sure 👍
Now that the english market has become so chaotic, (and) also japanese getting more available for the us and such, i think its a really good time to start investing japanese. im gonna purchase: 2x Triplet beat 2x Supercharged 2x Paradise Dragona 2x Crimson Haze 2x Terestrial festival All of wich has some cards i really like myself
Hey my friend, a nice accumulation of boxes there, I also think Crimson Haze is a little underrated. Sorry to hear that you were unsuccessful with the PC Japan this time. Stay safe.
this is where i get mine from (I'm in the UK): www.ryman.co.uk/really-useful-storage-box-18-litre-1?gad_source=1&gclid=Cj0KCQiA4fi7BhC5ARIsAEV1YiapQWi7EzJ_zpUux_CgbLz6yLoAG77hE8r2GhcEUt8ndYmTS1vJjzwaAs0wEALw_wcB
Great collection! You're my favourite Pokemon TH-camr, always balanced and articulate. I also think Crimson Haze is a great buy and at current prices i'd put Violet ex base up there
@@Fox_Mccloud11 thanks so much for the compliment. yeah i forgot to mention violet isn’t even available on PCJ at the moment. i’ve always had a soft spot for Scarlet Base though - Gardie and Koraidon
you'll need a proxy address in Japan to ship the boxes there first. After that to ship from Japan to the UK usually costs between £30-60 depending on volume. You will also have to factor in customs duties. I usually ship in shipments of 4-5 boxes as that's below the customs threshold and that costs around £30-35 so it does add on the cost a bit - however the benefit of buying from Pokemon Center Japan is you have 100% peace of mind that the boxes are legit
been buying Japanese this entire time despite market sentiment. the most units I own are definitely lost abyss, 151 + paradigm. had a heap of crimson because it was so cheap and after cracking many boxes without hitting sar or eevee I was kinda fed up and then greninja finally popped up, thats the end of my crimson run 😂😂 prices across the board are also rising on snkrdunk daily in the last 7 days, pretty much every box
i did the exact same with Crimson 🤣 managed to pull Perrin, Lana's Aid and Sinistcha SARs + Eevee AR but no Greninja. There are both pros and cons to boxes when they're very cheap! thanks for watching
That's the most beautiful thing I've ever seen. 😮😂 In all seriousness I'm going to miss the bargain basement prices. 😢 It couldn't last forever though. Any idea what happened to the Japanese 151 reprint? It seems to have done absolutely f*ck all to the prices. 😂
it was a myth - i saw the price go down by 1-2000 yen, it’s now gone even higher to 14-15,000 it seems. i still think we can expect to see maybe 1-2 more reprints before the end of SV but we’ll see
haha sorry that's not my place to say, though for 151 i can see it rising much higher than what it currently is, only question is whether you're willing to risk it and wait it out
i’m not sure i agree - easy 10s in Japanese and hard 10s in English is partly why the top SV chase cards in English are worth more! at least that’s how i see it!
what about supercharged breaker? i respect people's opinions but in my personal opinion you've missed off a few really good ones including crimson haze! thank you for watching.
i do not, but i'm talking about Japanese products that i buy from Japan, the prices are displayed in yen (including on pokemon center japan), so it seems logical to me to refer to yen
If it wasnt for studies, I would have bought a bunch of boxes... One exam was all it took for japanese booster boxes to increase in price so much.
at least the studies will put you in a better position for the future 😅
Bruh that’s where I’d like my collection to get. I collect exclusively Japanese but boxes have been elusive up here.
@@joerotar2613 appreciate the compliment! this is actually a part of it. best of luck!

SwSh seems like a good idea right now!
Triplet beat is a great set, and I noticed Ruler of the Black Flame was the most popular product on there for a couple of days.
yeah black flame came in and sold out pretty quick! i’m still not a huge fan of it, thanks for watching mate
Boxes are always hard to find if you are in Japan during to release. Has been like that for years.

Where did you get your storage containers? Definitely want to try that. Looks very organized and protected.
i'm based in the UK - they're called Really Useful Boxes, 18L size. hopefully you can find some!
@@pokemonstatcg Awesome, thanks!

thanks Kevin - all good, i managed to secure some last round anyways. stay safe too
What size boxes Litre? do you keep your Japan booster boxes in
18L
You got a link for the containers? I have all my booster boxes in a big cooler 😂

really useful boxes !
