Fahk vs Gigas actually isn't all that bad. He's one of the only characters that can match his insane reach plus you can crush all his running moves with your taunt for free launches.
Gigas gets a buff, and dotoring can have a fair game. This guy has become a monster of a player due to gigas being so low tier for a long time, he built incredibly strong fundamentals
@@morya9 i agree with you here i've been watching some of Puma's king cause it keeps popping up, he's king is surely better very defensive and has a good utilization of mixups strings and punishes and although he's not as hyoe for using the really high risk hig reward moves i think puma's king is more stronger since turtling is always strong and some of his games especially in pools puma actually uses king's 10hit combo string for a mixup and that's actually pretty cool for me
Gigas' d3+4 power crush is so good Sometimes it's hard to get a 10 frame punish out but you can follow up the power crush with any move and its so cool
I hope Gigas returns in Tekken 8, I feel like he's unique enough to stand apart from Marduk, even if they say he's a clone but like the Mishima's exists so...
When looking at the comments from the twitch about nerfing Gigas, they fail to see that Dotoring's fundamentals are S Tier, not Gigas the character. If Dotoring mained any Mishima, Fahkumram, or Leroy, he wouldn't not have to try as hard and would be winning a lot more. As MMSWE puts it playing Gigas is like fighting with a folk in a wheel chair against an opponent who has a long sword.
There's this guy called gigas thiccas who has great setups for gigas and also applies giga's power crush so well.. the patience needed in utilizing that power crush properly is amazing..

Correct me if I’m wrong, but the main problem I have with gigas outside of gameplay is we barely know anything about him. His “story” cutscene had barely and information, and the explanation for who he is or why he’s dressed the way he is or chained up is unexplained. We all thought it was a tested marduk but there was no official word
I know it isn’t easy but the reward for getting it right feels excessive. Imagine if Kazuya got 70% for pulling of his 6x Electrics combo or lee for pulling of his cancels. It feels like there less risk for king because if the throw is broken the neutral is reset and if it’s ducked besides Geese, Akuma and a couple of other characters most characters will only get 40-45% when they launch punish but if the throw is successful it does 60%
I think it’s fair. Every character has its strengths and King happens to be a grappler- throws are his thing. Besides, the throws can be broken for the most part, albeit with the right amount of skill and (sometimes) luck. TLDR, nothing OP or unfair about King.

The throw inputs cane be easily messed up plus even trying the throws would be hard let alone get the right mixup so i feel like ir's alright

Exactly. Those grabs can only be broken by guessing, this amount of damage is cheap and excessive for the minimal bit of risk King has to take.
