when you compare trump to Biden, only trump is a CONVICTED CRIMINAL who's been married 3 times to trophy wives and had 2 affairs that we know of. Unlike Biden who has been faithfully married to the same woman for 47 years.
Only trump has lustful feelings for his OWN daughter. (see The View interview from before he was president) .
Only trump has complete disrespect and contempt for his own military. ( see trump comments about John McCain, the Fallen at the WW2 cemetery in France, John Kelly's son and a Purple Heart recipient from his election campaign)
only trump told the American people to "Inject bleach" and "put UV light inside the body" as a serious cure for Covid,.(Not to mention telling the country, "it's like the flu, it'll go away by April)
Only trump said "there were fine people on both sides" in response to Charlottesville attack, and praised Kanye West and Nick fuentes, when they visited him in Florida. (not to mention his praise for David Duke)
I could literally go on all day pointing out the STARK difference of HOW MUCH WORSE trump is, than Biden. Biden is not a saint and is not perfect, no man is, he has made mistakes, but at least he is a NORMAL human being who treats people with respect and dignity, and has respect for rule of law (see his response to his son being convicted) and The Office of President.
And to finish, ONLY trump TRIED TO OVERTHROW THE GOVERNMENT AND ILLIGIALY RETAIN POWER! A first, I believe, in American history. So it would be quite a challenge for Biden to be worse, given how fundamentally trump has debased and abused the Presidency and Democracy.

I'm a Christian, a former Southern Baptist, and as a young adult, I always voted *straight Republican,* egged on by my widowed mother, a Dr. James Dobson devotee and attender of anti-abortion rallies.
Our devotion to the Republican party came to a spectacular, screeching, smoking halt worthy of a Road Runner cartoon in 2016 with the appearance of Donald Trump as a presidential candidate. If someone had told me in 1985 that "Someday your mother is going to say to you, 'You're voting for Hillary [Clinton], aren't you?'" I would have said, "Are we talking about the same Mary Norris?" But she would have *none* of Trump, and neither would I.
I just could not buy many Christian friends' and family members' insistence that Trump was *the Christian choice.* " That viewpoint just did not align with the Jesus I knew from the Bible.
If I'm choosing between the Bible and human opinion, I'm going with the Bible, no matter who the people are.

You have no idea what your words mean to me and to so many other Christians who see Trump for what he is: a dangerous man. Back four years ago, John MacArthur recorded a video and put it on TH-cam. In it he said, “Only a true Christian would vote for Trump.” I was appalled! I had many of MacArthur’s books. I had listened to his radio ministry, Grace to You for years, and now I was hearing him say to vote for Trump. I was heartbroken. I cried my eyes out. I told my husband, he very wisely told me that I shouldn’t be surprised, people’s masks came off when Trump became president. By the way, I didn’t vote for him in 2016, I voted for Hilary. What has hurt me the most is that so many pastors have gone the way of Trumpism, and instead are teaching the gospel of grievance. One thing that I have learned is that we don’t escape the consequences of our past sins. Yes, my Lord Jesus has forgiven me, but I couldn’t escape the consequences of my past. I accept this. I don’t know if Trump ever thought he’d suffer any consequences for all the evil he’s done. I used to pray for his salvation, but after not seeing any change in his life, I’ve prayed for justice, justice for all the people he’s wronged. He’s also wronged all the people who blindly believe him.

I have never voted Republican. I admired Jommy Carter and the way he lived his life as a Christian by the integrity and faithfulness to the nation he was elected to serve. He embodied a servant's heart, as he has throughout his entire life. Ronald Reagan served Corporate wealthy elites at the expense of the poor. Justice and a posture of servanthood are characteristics of true Christian leaders. Not coercion or manipulation or catering to power and money interests to retain control. I do not fault anyone who votes Republican; that is their choice. I do fault those who use politics as a mechanism to enrich themselves and consolidate power in order to take away the civil rights of the people, tax the poor to enrich the wealthy, work to strip people of basic dignity and honor. Loving one's neighbor as oneself is the highest principle of politics and good government. I appreciate your comments as always and your courage in calling out hypocracy and idolotry. God bless. Your voice is important. Fascism is unthinkable and a real possibility if we do not pull together, both conservatives and progressives. We can come to a consensus after Trump and his handlers are out . Let's work to preserve Democracy and the rule of law together.

Talking about someone who is trying to destroy our country is not hate mongering, it's a statement of fact. The career criminal, convicted felon, Donald J. Trump, of course hates all the laws that seek to stop him from screwing people.

@Rae6357 Nice! Pedal steel is a super difficult instrument to play, I've heard. I've never tried it. I appreciate your question because I've been thinking about that a lot. I started this channel during the 2020 election and called it Evangelical Resistance back then, but I didn't have as much time to spend on it. After the 2020 election I took a couple years off from the channel, but then started again under the name Culture, Faith, and Politics in the hopes that I could talk about a wide variety of topics. I really don't like talking about politics except in the big picture - not the day to day. So my goal was to focus on things that make me happy - good books, music, movies, etc., and to do about one video per week about big picture "political" topics like Christian Nationalism. If DJT loses, then I'll go back to that original vision pretty quickly. If he wins...I don't know. I'll have to decide what my role should be then, if that many people who call themselves Christians reject my message (and others) once again. At some point it would feel a bit Quixotic to keep trying to convince people, but on the other hand, my voice might be even more necessary, then. I hope we don't find out. I'm 90% sure the nation will reject Trump in November, once people start paying more serious attention again.

Thank you for explaining this so well. I too am a lifelong conservative voter. I did not vote for Trump in his first run, but I gave him the benefit of the doubt when he was elected. But I have also come to the conclusion that he is unfit for public office. I disagree more than I agree with Biden, but he is a statesman and has steadily served our country for decades. I feel safer with him and Kamala in charge. Never thought I would be saying that, but here we are.

    Great video, brother!
I wrote this post recently and wanted to share. God bless, you!
Christian nationalism and patriotism are AC. It’s identifying with, a love, and a devotion to one’s nation. It leads people into an “Americanized patriotic Christianity”. A “patriotic Christianity” where you subconsciously live for America as though it’s the Kingdom of God. A counterfeit Christianity where you’re not obeying the Word of God and living for “thy kingdom come, thy will be done”, but living for this world and God’s blessings for America.
“God” and “Country” is a deception that causes you to be a friend of the world. The Bible says that friendship with this world is hostile toward God.
As Christian’s were strangers in a foreign land. We’re pilgrims, not patriots. That’s a hard truth for many Americans to accept.
As a veteran, it took a long time for me to accept this truth. You’ll be looked at as being unpatriotic or a traitor. But even our Lord Jesus Christ said, “MY KINGDOM IS NOT OF THIS WORLD.” We’re told to not love this world and seek ye first the Kingdom of God! “Thy Kingdom come, thy will be done.”
Christian nationalism causes professing Christians to mix the things of this world with their faith (nationalism, patriotism, politics, dominionism, prosperity). And in my opinion, it is one of the biggest vehicles leading people into Trumpism, because Trump uses these things to build his base. He appeals as the number one defender of all these things that Americans identify with and love.
Trumpism is leading to the worship of Donald Trump and the persecution of anyone who opposes him.
There are so many layers playing into this Trump deception. He is a false savior who preaches a false gospel ("I alone can save you.").
We're seeing an ultra-patriotism that mixes the identity of a nation with a cult of personality surrounding Trump.
In other words, Trump is personified and seen as being the embodiment of America. Many of his supporters see him as their champion and as one of them. They see him as the one whose risked it all for them and is this Captain America-like figure. He’s their rider on the white horse who will “save America” and conquer the dark forces of this world.
Many of his evangelical supporters see him as a messianic figure who they equate to King David, King Cyrus, Moses, Jehu, Job, Caleb, and even the Lord Jesus Christ Himself. Many of his supporters see him as God’s instrument to save their Heaven on earth (America). You see how the love for a country plays into this messianic deception.
They see him as a "lesser" evil or as a man that God is “working on”.
The problem with politics is this, it’s not only a false gospel that promotes a false message of salvation (“Vote for me and I’ll build it back better or make it great again”), but politics are the things of this world and it has become like a religion in this country. Regardless of how vile a candidate is, people believe that it is your patriotic duty to vote to save their country. And those who don’t vote are viewed by both sides as casting a vote with the other side. Politics cause people to go along with evil because of they believe it’s their duty. So they call evil good or justify evil.
Another problem with politics is that for YEARS, the GOP has been portrayed as being on the side of God and the left as being on the side of evil and against America.
Most of Trump’s supporters see this as a battle between "good vs. evil". A battle to save our nation (that’s Lance Wallnau’s words not mine). They see Trump as the one who's standing in the way of all forces of evil. They see him as the only one who can save America and as the defender of the faith.
Most Americans identify with one of these two groups. Their identity is found in the things of this world (Nationalism, patriotism, politics, etc.). All of these strongholds keep their focus on the things of this world when the Bible tells us to come out of this world and “be ye separate”.
Their minds then become more shaped by the things of this world (the news, conspiracies, political commentators, social media, friends, family, etc.). Their minds are not shaped by the Word of God alone.
Politics divides Conservative Christians from their mission field. They become full of worldliness, fear, division, and hatred. They become infected by the leaven of the Pharisees. They see their side as being on the side of God and as good. And that a loyalty to Trump is a loyalty to God and America.
How many Trump supporters who see Trump as a "lesser evil" actually vetted him with an open mind? How many of them know about his corrupt past? How many have excused his lawlessness because they see him as being better than the alternative, as a messianic figure, as being the leader of the side they see as being on the side of God. They don’t hold him or their side to the same standards as they do the left so they become hypocrites.
The false dichotomy of politics is a deception. The idea that the only two choices are Biden and Trump while excluding all other alternatives is a deception. The idea that the right represents all that is good and the left is evil and traitors is a deception.
This is all leading to the rise and worship of the DT. And it's leading to the persecution of anyone who opposes him (the sinners and the saints of God). Notice how he has continually demonized the left - calling them radical and equating them to traitors, communists, marxists, fascists, socialists, the deep state, etc. He has stated that he will "root out the vermin" and all of these "radical" groups. And that he’ll be dictator on day one.
He has created this politicized trap that if you're not on his side, then you're on the side of evil and against America. He makes himself as the truth and anyone who speaks out against him is seen as "fake news" or being on the side of evil. Anyone who tries to call him into account is demonized as being a leftist. If it's a Republican - then they're called a RINO. If it's anyone else - then they're seen as being part of the left.
His supporters see anyone who call him out as being Democrats. They excuse his evil because well, "God is using Trump to stop an antichristian agenda" or "Trump's not perfect, but God uses imperfect people," or "At least the economy was better under Trump and Biden's trying to destroy America."
Trump is consumed by lust for money and power at all costs to others. He’s using his base as a means to get back to power.

Pro-life means womb, tomb, and every minute of life in between, for all human beings, everywhere. Most people fall in that in-between time, right? So that is the time during which a Christian can do the most good, both in service and by voting. Jesus revealed what the Judgment of the Nations will look like when He returns in Matthew 25:31-46. This passage is so important for what He mentions, and just as important for us as to what He does not. Do a Bible study on how righteous people are commanded to respond to immigrants sometime.
Unlike Trump, President Biden has not indicated a desire to overthrow the Constitution so he can stay in office indefinitely. Biden understands that he is only a temporary civil servant (and remember, that is all a President is...his or her power is Constitutionally limited, and it should stay that way!). Biblically, God prefers the rule of law over the rule of kings (see 2 Samuel 8). It is sinful human beings who want human kings to rule them with an iron fist, as Israel demanded in opposition to God's will. The flesh likes that "angry daddy" in charge, for some reason.
Also look at what Biden inherited: 1) The worst disease outbreak in 100 years, during which Trump showed almost no leadership. While Trump takes credit for the vaccines, he did nothing to oppose the anti-vaxxers. At the time Biden took office, the vaccines had reached only 4% of the population. More than 1,000,000 Americans died from COVID or COVID-related complications. 2) COVID destroyed the supply chain system, setting the stage for high inflation that started in 2020. There were other factors at play after that, especially corporate price-gouging (evidenced by record profits). Now that these companies have been called on the carpet, prices are falling again. The Fed just announced an inflation rate of 2.7%. It's not at their target of 2%, but that is still very low. 3) Unemployment was still 6.4% when Trump left office. Unemployment is at 4% now, and is so low that employers are paying more to attract and keep good workers. That's very good for the average worker!

Clarity, I have been so disappointed with the church. I was a devoted Baptist for years, even taught Sunday School. I left because I saw the church becoming an arm of the Republican Party. Started with prayer circles praying for the liberals to see politics their way. I saw Christians who thought they were doing their part for Jesus by voting Republican. I saw hate entering their teachings, especially in my high schoolers class. I left way before Trump. I saw him coming. And now I live in the rural mountains because I have seen what is coming. We had been there for 20 years and the Afghan people had yet to make progress in healing their own centuries-old tribal and religious violence. (and obviously most Afghans just want to get on with their lives) Were some Americans killed injured in the withdrawal? Yes. A lot of us stupider Americans blamed Biden. I appreciate what you’re doing. I’m doing what I can in my own small way.
I don’t know if you’ve already made a video on this but I’d love to hear what the turning point was for you, and looking back over the last several years, what did your media consumption habits look like?
I think it’s likely that you weren’t hanging off every word Fox News and its ilk have been sayinfor decades.
I was a conservative for the first 20 to 25 years of my life. But I had a few events that caused me to really question somethings. And while my faith in God, and His Son are stronger than they’ve ever been, as I’ve discovered the truth of individual claims made by politicians in particular, I’ve found myself agreeing with progressives more and more.
There are elements of the Democratic Party I am incredibly uncomfortable with, particularly their relationship with large corporations and the banking industry. So I tend not to identify as a Democratic but rather as a progressive because I’ve changed my views and life step by step, as I dug to the bottom of the evidentiary pile to discover what the indisputable truth of each question is.
So much of the progressive heart and view sounds a lot more Christ like than the vast majority of conservative Christians I’ve heard over the last decade. Taking care of the downtrodden, providing for the poor, thinking of others before themselves. Some of the best people I’ve known in my life have been progressives.
And those I dearly love, who have not embraced Trump’s malice but still plan to vote for him, I believe have been deeply deceived. They exist in an information bubble, and not only that, but one that slowly, over the last few decades, has carefully walked them away from reality and into a world where the most outrageous claims are accepted. Trump is a symptom of what Fox News has been working towards since its inception. I witnessed it firsthand. This isn’t some off the wall conspiracy theory. But can be proven by examining the type of stories they made at their very beginning and after establishing themselves as an “authority of the fair and balanced,” turned up the proverbial heat and slowly boiled the frog. It’s possible to trace the increase of ever wilder claims over the last three decades.
Fox became their arbiter and disseminator of truth.
I’m pulling all of this information together, which I plan to share in the run up to the election.
If you’re interested, I’ll be glad to share what I currently have and what I’m still gathering the evidence for.
I also have some thoughts on where spiritual discernment fits into all of this, but I’ll leave that to a private conversation, if you have any interest.

BTW, I agree with President Biden's order to pull the US military out of Afghanistan. The problem was that the pull out was poorly done. The US military does not belong as an occupying force in any country where US troops are unwelcomed. The US now must pull its troops out of Iraq, another country in which US troops are an invading, occupying force. Would we want a forced Iraq military base with missiles pointed at Washington DC set up in the US in a state such as California? That is essentially what the US is doing to many foreign countries.

Yeah, through the last 5 or so years. I think that i have come to the exact same conclusions as you. Abortion was the only thing that i had to really come to grips with. I think i finally have though. I think that America is handling abortion as only a legal issue. Because the mind not under the authority of God cannotvsee it any other way. However the law, like the Law or commandments of God, do not come with the power towards obedience or the Spirit of obedience. As such, the Law can only highlight sin, displaying sin as it truly is.
    ‭Romans 3:19-20 NASB2020‬
[19] Now we know that whatever the Law says, it speaks to those who are under the Law, so that every mouth may be closed and all the world may become accountable to God; [20] because by the works of the Law none of mankind will be justified in His sight; for THROUGH THE LAW COMES KNOWLEDGE OF SIN..
    - Unfortunately 'knowledge of sin' without the power of the Holy Spirit just leaves you with greater accountability and "in-your-face" inability. Until people gain a love for God through the Spirit of God, they will never be able to obey God's commandments. And this is where America is, when it comes to abortion. They are shown to be cold-hearted murderers, but they lack the light and love in their hearts to do anything about it. And all Catch-22 situations serve to make you more angry, the very root of murder. In conclusion, making abortion illegal with a "legitimately legal" law on the books CANNOT fix anything, as a murderer is a murderer at heart. With this same line of thought, MAGA and "in-your-face" confrontationalism will only produce a lose-lose scenario of polarization where flesh (that can easily be moved towards murder) is pitted against Spirit, which has boundaries where it can not go. Unfortunately, what will fill this gap is the "Christian Militia" mindset and "a house divided". May God give us wisdom for dark days ahead.
