- Sky News host Rowan Dean says Donald Trump is a “clairvoyant” after an old video of the former president resurfaced, labelling many politicians as having “no great brain but a big smile”.
In an interview with Rona Barrett from 1980, Mr Trump expressed that he would not like to be president in the future.
“The most capable people are not necessarily running for political office, and that is a very sad commentary on the country,” Mr Trump said.
“Somebody with strong views, and somebody with the kind of views that are maybe a little bit unpopular, which may be right, but may be unpopular, wouldn’t necessarily have a chance of getting elected against somebody with no great brain but a big smile.”
Sky News host James Morrow questioned, “how on earth” did Donald Trump know he would be running against Joe Biden.

It's hilarious that he still sounds so similar. The only difference is that his voice was a bit softer then, but if old Donald and young Donald were both talking in the same volume and you closed your eyes, it would be hard to tell the difference.

I've seen this interview heaps of times- I love his honesty and transparency. At one point Rona hears noise and gets up to address it pretty loudly- I would have been rofl- but when she came back, his reaction was priceless- little quick smile of acknowledgment and then right back to business. He really knows how to read people and is a great listener.

As an Aussie, I have respect for Donald Trump. He understands how to manage the financial difficulties of running a company. Not many politicians have his involvement of many years in the building sector. Not only does DT have financial knowledge, he has the acumen to deal with the foreign governments.
