He made the scenes so much funnier without words.
You can't forget that ONE LINE in the 1st book that was criminally left out in which 11 year old Hyacinth makes a move on Simon, basically asking him, in case it wouldn't work with Daphne, to wait a few years for her to make her debut. Gurl knew what she wanted and went for it, while I'm almost twice her age and can't ask anyone out 😭
The "COLIN BRIDGERTON" hits even better in Queen Charlotte when adult Violet said something spicy, to which (also adult) Lady Danbury exclaimed "VIOLET BRIDGERTON" 😅 They're all hoes, let's be real 😂
It is definitely needed. It grounds the family, actions, love, friendships, etc. It is what holds all the storylines together and makes you care about the Bridgertons.

The first season definitely highlighted the siblings chaotic energy as they were all still young compared to much later seasons where they're all starting to mature
My favorite Bridgerton sibling moment in the books is Colin paying Hyacinth to keep her mouth shut about the identity of Lady Whistledown at Eloise’s wedding only to get bored and go to reveal her identity anyway just to see Eloise’s reaction. Then finding out that Eloise paid Hyacinth to tell her because Hyacinth was in her room at 2 am bragging about how everyone knew already and she was the only one who didn’t. At one point Hyacinth starts talking about what she should buy with all the money she’s extorted from her siblings.
How real the family dynamics are always has me as a mom to the same amount 😂 just change the clothes and make the house tiny and the behaviours shockingly recognizable
