I'm so glad to have found a video like this; it's the closest I can relate to the Prison Me No Way DVD that I remember at School when I was in Year 10.
By the way, police officers DO NOT need a court warrant to enter a property to arrest somebody for an indictable offence as defined under section 17 of the Police & Criminal Evidence Act 1984. Both making hoax calls and arson are indictable offences (indictable basically means serious, the other type being minor known as summary offences). Saying that, if a civilian or PCSO witnesses a person setting a fire or making a hoax call, they can detain that person under section 24A of PACE until arrival of a constable. However section 24A does not allow “other persons” to enter property without a warrant.
Thankyou for publishing this very heart felt video. I Have worked in the Fire Safety Trade for many years and would like to send his to the local schools for video awareness sessions. I believe that the message throughout this video will assist in reducing the risk caused by juveniles if only to make sure they can think about the consequences. Is there any copyright to this video prior to sending to local school web/media sites.

I already knew very well about the consequences of prank calling 911 or 999 and therefore I have never done a hoax call because like any smart and caring person I don’t want to get anyone else injured or killed because of the hoax call. However finding out that the baby died in the fire due to that hoax call has motivated me further to never do a hoax call as seeing the baby die made me very sad as it was just a innocent little baby who could easily have been saved were it not for the hoax call. Although this situation wasn’t real it does show the horrible consequences of making a hoax call which happens all to often in real life. For example there was a real life case of a hoax call that got someone killed in the United Kingdom which was also where this video was made in and set in. In the real life case a unknown person sent a hoax call to the fire service in which he said that a hospital was on fire and the firefighters not innitally knowing that it was a hoax call responded to the call. Unfortunately at the same time the firefighters were responding to the hoax call another call was sent about a building that was near the fire station being on fire and unfortunately a young kid named Jason was trapped in the burning building. Since the firefighters close to the burning building were responding to the hoax call the next closest firefighters were futhuer away which therefore resulted in a delay. Unfortunately due to that delay by the time the other firefighters arrived at the scene and got Jason out precious time was lost. Tragically although the firefighters were able to get Jason out of the building they were too late to save him as due to that delay by the time the other firefighters got there Jason was already dead. Those same firefighters rightfully believe that if it wasn’t for the hoax call then Jason would have survived as if it wasn’t for the hoax call then the firefighters who were closer to Jason’s home could have gotten there much quicker and then therefore could have gotten Jason out of the building and then saved his life. There is a video on TH-cam about Jason which is called Jason’s story.
No, this is a film based on the death to raise awareness of hoax calls, he/or she died in a house fire because fire engines at the nearest station were at a fake call
@@lukemeanwell3260unfortunately no the baby did not survive. The baby died due to the fire because since the nearest firefighters were at the scene of the fire that was caused by the kids committing arson firefighters from further away were the next ones who were closest to the fire and although they did respond to the fire because they were further away it took them much longer to reach the scene and therefore by the time they got there it was too late to save the baby.
