There's a guy in my friend group who's kind of a diet version of Jacob, and honestly it grows on you. They might be loud and obnoxious at times, but a heart of gold usually lies underneath. I realized that, in my specific case, my problem with him is that I felt that he was hoarding all the group's attention to himself through his antics, so to speak, but since I started therapy it has stopped bothering me, and I grew to appreciate the levity he can bring to situations when needed
