    There is something quite special about travelling by train and ferry over flying. The journey becomes part of the experience. Thank you for a great travel vlog.

    I always did this journey every year from when I was 6months old in 1957 , when it was a steam train, I still love the ferry crossing.

    Thank you for sharing this. My wife and I are vacationing from California with our 8-year old daughter during her winter break and we're taking this journey in reverse from Dublin to London before traveling by rail to Amsterdam and Paris.

    I love getting the ferry to Ireland. I tend to do the ferry from Birkenhead to Belfast in Northern Ireland. It does take longer than flying but it’s always fun!

    I was wondering if dogs are allowed on the train and the ferry. I will collect my dog on March 11th from London and I have not a clue how I am going to get to Dublin with the dog. I loved to see the way I seen only on the map visualised. It is great what you are doing.

    For those travelling from other places in the world, the train and ferry combo is a really amazing way to travel that isn’t like the flying you can and sometimes have to do. P.S. Your 00:51 timestamp in the description has a typo.

    financially the only downside with train/ferry is you are a captive customer for longer, so you might spend more on high priced coffees/food unless you are organised

    When I travelled "Rail and Sail" from Portsmouth in England to Limerick in Ireland I got a through train all the way from London Euston to Holyhead/Caergybi so didn't need to change from one service to another at Crewe! I paid £60 (Return) for my travel ticket in November 2013!

    Train or ferry the current best way. If you go by plane it’s currently such a pain . A lac of staff at airports , flight cancellations. Too risky thinking of cancelling my easyJet flights in September.

    Which kind of documents u need to carry during the journey?
    Thanks

    • @sarahb.m.5730
      @sarahb.m.5730  3 ปีที่แล้ว

      For this journey it was just the vaccination pass and the passenger locator as well as your I.D/passport. I travelled in august 2021 though so the rules may have changed.

    John 3:16-21
    16 For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life. 17 For God sent not his Son into the world to condemn the world; but that the world through him might be saved. 18 He that believeth on him is not condemned: but he that believeth not is condemned already, because he hath not believed in the name of the only begotten Son of God. 19 And this is the condemnation, that light is come into the world, and men loved darkness rather than light, because their deeds were evil. 20 For every one that doeth evil hateth the light, neither cometh to the light, lest his deeds should be reproved. 21 But he that doeth truth cometh to the light, that his deeds may be made manifest, that they are wrought in God.
