A husband and wife, both detectives, volunteer to participate in a dangerous mission to stop a drug trafficking organization.
Set in the 1990s, The Worst of Evil follows undercover police investigators who infiltrate a massive criminal organization responsible for the illegal drug trade between Korea, China and Japan. Park Jun-Mo is a senior patrol police officer in the countryside who is constantly belittled by the in-laws for having a lower rank and career prestige than his wife, Yoo Eui-jeong, an elite member of the Security Division of the Seoul Metropolitan police. Despite this, his wife always stands up for him. Sick of being emasculated by his job, he accepts a deal as an undercover cop in the Gangnam organization so he can get a promotion that matches his wife's prestige.

Everything Junmo feels is justified. They all pushed him to that point even the wife. She got involved when she didn't need to be, distracting him and making the mission difficult and junmo can clearly see her feelings for gicheol. He had to kill because of her.
Nah the wife was for real dumb for wearing that necklace Gicheul gave her to meet Junmo, if she has to wear it, it should be when she's meeting Gicheul lol. Junmo was an absolute savage this episode, his attitude around everyone aside from Haeryun/Bibi was very thug like.
The other cop miscalculated big time with bringing Junmo into this mission, especially with his background. He kept on recommending him and talking about how he's fit for the job forgetting why exactly. Junmo and Gicheul are parallels of each other - gicheul went into this business to prove something to himself and others (break free from the reputation his father gave him) and junmo went into the police to break free from the shackles his dad's addiction has on him but while gicheul prospered junmo's past came back to haunt him but luckily he held strong up until this mission, this behaviour from Junmo is long overdue and that is because he didn't want to be like his dad but with enough desperation and anger he is exactly like gicheul (add a mental breakdown in there and the man is even worse than him and the Chief)
Also the mental breakdown would have happened with or without the wife, junmo is just frustrated that that side of him, he has fought so hard to not accept came out because she was in danger. The wife genuinely loved him and cared for gicheul as a friend the same way junmo cared for Ms.lee because at the end of the day gicheul and lee are nice broken people.

Y’all should REALLY react to The childe(Korean movie). It’s really good, it has one of my fav actors from home-town cha cha. This movie has amazing action scenes and fighting scenes. Definitely is worth checking out, if you can.

I noticed you guys call the characters by their surnames even though everyone else, including the characters call them by their given names.
We call them by the name easiest to remember meant to identify who we are talking about among each other. For example Woo and Lee are really easy to remember
