A husband and wife, both detectives, volunteer to participate in a dangerous mission to stop a drug trafficking organization.
Set in the 1990s, The Worst of Evil follows undercover police investigators who infiltrate a massive criminal organization responsible for the illegal drug trade between Korea, China and Japan. Park Jun-Mo is a senior patrol police officer in the countryside who is constantly belittled by the in-laws for having a lower rank and career prestige than his wife, Yoo Eui-jeong, an elite member of the Security Division of the Seoul Metropolitan police. Despite this, his wife always stands up for him. Sick of being emasculated by his job, he accepts a deal as an undercover cop in the Gangnam organization so he can get a promotion that matches his wife's prestige.

Junmo smiling the whole time in the beginning despite getting beat up & insulted by the annoying cop was crazy. Such a brutal yet great scene that ji chang wook pulled off.
This is such a turning point like you guys aren’t going to be ready for the next 5 episodes because the intensity back to back is crazzzyy😭😭
The scene with Gicheul and Jungbae was easily my favourite scene in the whole show. I'm a sucker for good acting and emotional scenes. Loved it!!!
Just to be clear, I don't condone Cheating 🙅♂️ But Imma be honest. The marriage, as well as Gicheul's & Euijong's relationship... is a little vanilla compared to Junmo & Haeryun's thing going on 🤣

Funny how Junbae is the only one who is right but he still gets on my nerves, but this ending I actually felt bad for him. They have no idea how right he is..
Amazingly written character though, in many western shows they would have turned him full villain but the fact he is very loyal just greedy is so much more realistic.
Hongkong wasn't part of China yet until 1997. And Taipei....well, it's in Taiwan and whether or not it is part of China is a very sensitive topic.
The scene between Choi Jung Bae and Yoo Ui Jung seems great to me and conveys a lot how he plays it, it makes me take his side when I really want Park Joon Mo not to be discovered.
The best scene in the series in my opinion. Very good series by the way, it surprised me.
Personally i love the kdrama reactions, i find great shows through u guys, but i think your audience is just heavily anime focused and kdramas only have so much crossover. Tv watchers and anime watchers arent necessarily the same audience, but as long as you keep putting them out the audience will build. Especially when its one of them that hits big or gets in the algorithm, then all of a sudden it will be an influx of korean watchers. Recently saw another content creator have his whole audience shift from US for years to now being mostly asian even though he still covers the same content.
