Thank you for the video. I find they are a nightmare when it comes to the clamp . As you can see there is a lip on the back box and a lip on the exhaust but only 1 Grove on the clamp . I have done this job on a Citroën c1 toyota aygo and now have the same issue with a peugeot 107 . I cannot tell you how many time I have had to go back under the car to try and stop it blowing , that's everyone of them mentioned . After checking at peugeot they sell the same clamp for £10 that I can get for £4 at an exhaust supplier. I wonder if after changing you rear silencer you are having any issues? I even sealed with exhaust paste and still blowing . I would have expected a clamp that holds both lips together.
hi, i just used the old clamp and there was no problems of blowing. it actually held the two lips in the one old clamp! i just made sure both ends were clean before putting on the clamp. you could try to have your clamp to hold the two lips? Good luck!
Hi, if you have a professional lift and can lift the car high enough, then you don't need to remove the rear wheel surely! But if you only have a normal hydraulic floor jack, I really recommend remove the rear wheel, making the job much easier and most of time you work beside the car not under it. Have a good day!
followed this video and 15 minutes later new exhaust fitted saving me over £100 in fitting costs !!!
Kudos for this tutorial mate! Thank you very much!

The new exhaust box looks robust with the upgraded support brackets, I’ll go to GSF for the exhaust 👍

What year is your AYGO? My wife has a 2013 , So is it the same rear exhaust?
Yes Aygo from 2005 to 2014 should be very similar. I think it should be the exactly same exhaust box. Have a nice day!
Thank you for your help
Thanks for the video. Is it necessary to remove the rear wheel or is this just for easier access?
