      I like red card honestly, if you have a good to decent economy it scales faster than things like bus/green joker in exchange for costing more money (and personally i think its really funny to get a red card to a high mult value)
      definitely still not good but it has been a big part of a few of my mid stake runs (now that orange stake is changed, its not useless in orange/gold), definitely not unusable

      Sock and Buskin being in S-tier (which I agree with) while Hack is in C-tier is absolutely crazy to me. Hack is Sock and Buskin without having to worry about the Plant boss. Both of my highest scoring runs (e105 on plasma, e58 on ghost) were with Hack/Idol builds.

      The worst thing about Obelisk is that it's just not sustainable. At some point, your second most played hand will catch up to your most played hand, then your third, and so on, until you're forced to reset Obelisk. To make it last until the end of the run, you gotta go all in on one hand, then abruptly switch from it. It can work, but it just isn't fun having to check all the time whether or not the hand you're about to play is tied for most played hand, and you being bound to sell that Rare Joker with a bazillion mult at some point really hurts.

      @@grzegorzbrzeczyszczykiewic563 Obelisk's Advocate, if you can manage to make a build that doesn't crumble the second you stop playing one or two hand types you'll probably run out of rounds to play before you're really forced to screw yourself like that, especially if you're skipping a bit more aggressively to help that along.
      doesn't mean I want to play it, still. But I can at least see how you'd survive if you are willing to put up with it. But yeah if you're going past Ante 8 it's purely temporary.

    Oh man, I think you're underrating Riff-Raff. On the higher stakes, it's *incredible*, as the jokers it gives can't have stickers. But even on the lower stakes, it can let you assemble some really strong common jokers. I often joke that Riff-Raff is a "banana generator", but I think it really is. It can also set you up with supernova, hanging chad, or whatever you need really.
    Speaking of hanging chad....I think it could straight-up be S. It's synergy with Glass card + photograph is 64x mult! And it's so easy to assemble!
    As for the one I disagree with most...wow, I think Troubadour is garbage. It costs you money for every round you have it. I really don't think it's ever worth taking, I would rather just have an extra hand + a joker slot rather than the hand size. It's hypersituational at best.
    Finally, I would personally move up Pants and hologram, I think both are basically a win, in the long term. But yeah, besides that, fantastic tier list :)

There are so many runs with Riff-Raff gives you 2 of your favorite chip/mult jokers during the first few rounds. Of course during the late game we always have to wish our Riff-Raff a teary-eyed goodbye before Ante 8. As someone who kept passing on Troubadour because of -1 hand then took it on a whim due to being negative, it’s not garbage. Yes it costs econ but the extra space for gold/steel cards or even to get the extra discarded card(s) in when you’re fishing for a hand can be much more valuable than the $1. It’s not something that I’d take on any run but when I’m pushing for consistent 4+ card hands or held card triggers, I’ll grab it.
      It can also be a savior early game when you just want to survive, I’ve been burned far too often needing to dump a card that I drew the second or third copy of when fishing for a full house or straight to survive.

    Very amateur comment from me, but regarding Madness, here's how I use it. I don't buy it late, I only ever buy it early. Get it up to those wacky levels of X mult, and get your economy going through gold cards, gold seals, high scoring hands you don't have to play over and over such as flush and above, utilize the extra money you're getting from not buying jokers to focus on improving your cards. Bonus cards, mult cards, polychrome obviously, steel cards, stone cards, doesn't matter. Make your cards pull the duty of those missing jokers, and you can afford to do so. All your economy is going into your deck itself. This guy keeps you alive through most of the antes before the ante 8 boss all by himself, but at a certain point this always happens:
    1. You're swimming in cash, your economy sustains itself through gold cards and gold seals, hands played, and payouts from blinds, and interest. You have so much money you buy everything in the shop just on the chance of it helping you. Assuming you made a gold card or two or used a gold seal card a few times, you're easily fine. You spent a little on planets but you're not trying to get to level 20 hands here, you just don't want to be on level 1.
    2. Your deck is brilliant and also suited to the type of hand you'd prefer to play, so you don't need to sink further money into tarot cards either.
    3. You already have whatever vouchers you want.
    4. You're not going to proceed further on madness alone.
    But it did carry you all the way to this point, easily. Now, buy all your jokers. We don't bother making them negative or enhancing them for obvious reasons.
    We get common chip and mult jokers only. We don't need additional x mult, we just want good base chips and mult jokers, our cards plus madness does the rest.
    Yes madness will eat one of your jokers. That joker is trivially easy to replace. You not only have the money to replace it, you can reroll until you find something just as good or better.
    So now you have 4 jokers that boost your mult and chips, you have a deck full of cards that boost your mult and chips. You have a hand that plays easily and scores well, and you have all the x mult you could ever desire.
    The only micro is buying a replacement joker every shop, which is as difficult as clicking a button 1-3 times. Madness is good to win runs. It might not be good for high scores and post game runs without eternal jokers, but it is all the X mult necessary to win all by itself when bought early enough.
    It needs the time to scale up to the double digits of multiplicative mult, and you need the time to build your deck out and your economy up to sustain buying common jokers every shop. It might not work well with low scoring small hands that typically get boosted by mult and chip jokers, or by space joker or burnt joker. But it can carry any mid-scoring hand and above to victory, when it starts running out of gas, give it helper jokers. It will eat them, but carry you to victory with their help.
    You get eternal jokers and you can buy it late. You have a great economy and you don't have super powerful, negative, or jokers with editions that you mind losing, and he's a pretty solid joker regardless of timing. But he really shines the earlier you get him, before you've spent 50+ dollars on other jokers and several antes have gone by. You spend less on jokers in general until the time comes, allowing you the cash to do everything else that grants you permanent effects that madness doesn't eat- tarot cards, spectral cards, mult and bonus and other enhancements, planet cards, vouchers.
    Don't skip blinds, is all.
    Madness helped me beat some stakes and certain decks that were giving me trouble. It appeared early and I know what to do. You almost don't have to think.

    I love tier list content. When I'm thinking about a joker, I consider how likely it is to help me in my current situation and the long term. Certain jokers, like Jimbo the basic joker, are basically ante 1 fodder. Super cheap, and the thing you need most at the time is mult. It does its job at a minimal impact to your economy, and you can always afford it even if you struggle and use all your hands early ante 1.
    It's obviously one of the weakest jokers the later into the game you go, but it keeps you alive long enough to see enough shops where you replace him. Which means he's strictly early game material, but often pretty solid, and he applies to every scoring hand. Other jokers seem better but are more expensive, don't trigger on every hand, rely on specific situations to trigger, or take up space in the shop when the first joker I ever look for is an additive mult joker.
    He's a lot like those tarot cards you buy to immediately sell for a profit, or the economy jokers you don't buy for long term. They are strictly transactional jokers that aren't a part of your "happily ever after" endgame joker set, but they perform a vital function getting your economy or score up temporarily, early, when you're struggling more due to RNG.
    Honestly, as weak as old Jimbo is, I've had so many runs on the upper stakes where I keep playing and dying because the early shops had no mult jokers in them and I couldnt afford to keep rerolling. Even he could have saved those runs, and helped where dozens of other jokers absolutely did not help early on.
    If you rate only their effectiveness come endgame or post ante 8, he's garbage. You also don't like seeing him in the shop taking up space when you no longer need him, which is quickly. Most other plus mult jokers are much better, too. But he's reliable plus mult for the era of the game where you die if you don't get him, and he applies every hand every time. He's like an old beat up but reliable starter vehicle. He's not pretty but he gets you to work on time. You don't keep him forever but you earn what you need to replace him pretty reliably, which means he's often a good, if short, investment.
    I can't say I've ever regretted buying him. There are a lot of other jokers that turned out to be a waste of money and opportunity.

    • @ZainoTVLive
      @ZainoTVLive  5 หลายเดือนก่อน +2

      Fair enough argument, but since it still pops up in the shop I take that into account..like x percentage of time I would buy and use this joker as well as how often id use it over another joker.

    Before the patch, red card is untakable at orange/gold stake, because packs were untakable. But its genuinely a good joker. So many buffoon, standard, and celestial packs contribute nothing to your run, either by offering you bad cards, planets for hands you're not making, or (since rental and perishable stickers are a thing now) sticker'd jokers that suck. Skip them and get +3 mult. It may seem like you're giving up too much for the mult, but there just aren't that many jokers that can give 30 or 40 mult for one slot. Also, you don't HAVE to skip; if the pack offers something better, take it. But surprisingly many pack picks are worse than a flat +3 mult, scaling and cramming into a single joker slot.

    I'd like to point out something about Red Card that you might not have considered, because in my opinion it's far from F tier. Bootstraps is in D tier, but these two Jokers basically serve the same purpose: turning your econ into flat mult. Red Card has the significant advantage of being able to give you mult and let you spend your money at the same time, whereas Bootstraps requires you to keep the money without spending it, or its mult plummets. Additionally, Red Card can scale faster and it's more efficient, not only because it gets +3 mult instead of +2, but also because of the existence of cheaper $4 packs and the ability to get the discount vouchers, making them even cheaper. Also, if you happen to come across a particularly good card in your packs, you can still pick it if you think it's worth more than 3 mult, not to mention that Mega packs allow you to pick a card and then still skip to get the Red Card benefit. Overall, I think Red card is a better version of Bootstraps, but it often gets low placements in these tier lists because psychologically it feels bad to use, as skips are seen as "wasted" money. It's far from the best flat mult joker in the game, but I feel like it's being severely underutilized by most players. Let me know your thoughts!

      I had a pretty good run with Red myself by taking advantage of what you're talking about with the 2-packs where you can take one and skip one and still get the buff. And if a one-pack is full of duds (as it often is) it's a nice consolation prize to just skip and get your Red buffed. It's not a joker I'm taking every time, but it does have its uses especially when you're in dire need of some + mult.

      I've been in a few scenarios where the game has practically forced me into taking Red card. I've seen how strong it can be, but even still it's so painful to play around that it's something I really only take out of desperation.
      But at the very least it's, A: not conditional with the cards you play, and B: doesn't reset or diminish if you choose not to scale it. Those factors alone are enough to put it above a lot of the +mult scaling jokers, as it's not something you need to ditch immediately if you start pivoting your build.

    Overrated: Banner. On any blue stake or higher, that's giving you +60 chips for the price of not discarding. If the hand you play requires discarding even some of the time, it hugely falls off and is not good. It's not bad, but definitely not the second best chip joker. It only takes 4 rounds for the nerfed square joker to beat out its chip production. Same with runner if you're playing only 1 straight per round, and those also let you discard if you need to. It's chip production is honestly probably even worse than Blue Joker, and Blue Joker doesn't really have any requirements. Most importantly, it doesn't work with burglar, which is my favourite joker and is just great for high card builds which is where you would probably want the banner anyways. Even on lower stakes, I don't think it can compete with really any of the scaling chip jokers and shouldn't be a whole tier above blue joker.
    Underrated: Obelisk. Sure, it's not the greatest rare joker, and it doesn't work with supernova, but with all the other scaling mult jokers it works great with your high card build. If you've got high card played 35 times you can pretty easily switch to pair and build that Obelisk up all the way to x8 or even higher by just playing pair or whatever comes up. I pick it up a good chunk of the time, and it's pretty great whenever I can make (which really isn't that difficult). I like it a lot. Definitely not on the same tier as jimbo, def not worse than showman or bootstraps.
    Honorable mentions:
    Overrated:
    Hallucination - Three tiers above cartomancer and requires you to spend money on booster packs? It's good, but not S-tier good
    Mr. Bones - If you need Mr. Bones you're probably screwed anyways. If you're dying to a specific boss blind, then why is it so much better than Luchador? It also requires you to hit 25% of the chip count, which might not be possible if you're countered by a specific boss blind
    Glass Joker - If you have a lot of glass cards, you probably don't need a xmult joker. If you don't have a lot of glass cards, it's bad. I don't really want my glass cards to break anyways. It's sort of self-defeating
    Underrated:
    Red Card - It's not _that_ bad
    Cartomancer - You almost put it in above average, then you moved it next to 8 ball and said that it's a lot like like 8 ball, but it's soo much better than it. A free, guaranteed tarot every round, unlike 8 ball which requires you to play your 8s and get lucky. Unless you're buying every pack in the shop or have oops all sixes, cartomancer even beats out hallucination in tarot production on average
    Burglar
    Space Joker - How dare you? S++

    Hanging Chad and Photograph might be the best combo in the game right now, because theyre both common, you can get one or both from riff raff, its so easy to get. And its absurd that it just gives X8 mult, have some base mult and it can go 100M score, for a 2 common joker combo. Its Triboulet at home, really

    Stencil joker is SUCH an interesting card, its value shoots ups considerably when you got 2 of them, because now its 4X at a minimum, and an INCREDIBLE 25X if you use them by themselves, Hell even playing 2 stencil on painted deck is a great idea for an X16 in my opinion. Just load up on planet levels and its VERY good
    Stencil also really benefits from other Xmults, on average, if you have another Xmult joker, it will increase the total Xmult instead of lower it, it does sound a bit counter intuitive at first.

I might be biased because it is my current high score, but I can't see any other joker getting close to x18. Triboulet seems OK, but your deck needs to be built a very specific way for it to be comparable, while Yorick works on literally any deck. And Canio is of course okayish, but he is just a good economy joker, nowhere close to S-tier.

    I had a weird run where I got an early spectral card where I could copy a joker, and I had some pretty poor jokers at the time, so I copied cloud nine.
    It basically became the equivalent of vagabond because now I have a very large incentive to create nines and I have all the money I could ever need to buy tarot cards, bought tarot merchant, made nines, enhanced nines, copied nines.
    Nine on its own isn't much to care about, but it's decent chips and then with 2 cloud nines I was earning 20 dollars every round on just my nines I made, and buffing my deck with chips and mult enhancements. Did replace the cloud nines once the score needed got big enough that I absolutely needed more multiplicative mult jokers, but... jebus that was an easy run.
    The game gets much easier when you have money to throw at problems. Doesn't solve all of them, but it's one of the best tools to solve most kinds of problems.
    Granted, you're not going to double cloud nine often, but if you do it early and also get your needed mult joker to go with it, you're set. I wouldn't have molded my deck into nines for one cloud nine card, but two? Suddenly S tier.

    In what way is Cartomancer worse than Hallucination!? They have the same average tarot output, but hallucination requires you to buy both packs every shop? Which some economys can't afford. Cartomancer should definitely be, at the very least, above average tier.

    • @ZainoTVLive
      @ZainoTVLive  5 หลายเดือนก่อน

      So basically, if you carry two tarots into the round cartomancer gives you nothing. However, hallucination allows you to have those cards as you go into spectral/tarot packs and use them. I may need to make a video on this, but basically hallucination allows much more freedom, and also doubles output with an oops.

    • @joshuakimpton8224
      @joshuakimpton8224 5 หลายเดือนก่อน

      @@ZainoTVLive Well, you can't carry two tarots into a pack using hallucination, and just a synergy with oops shouldn't put it in S-tier while Cartomancer languishes in C-tier. They should be moved closer together in some way, and since tarot generation is amazing, Cartomancer should have been moved up, and maybe hallucination moved a little down. However, looking deeper into it myself, since hallucination can be bought, used in the shop, then sold before the round starts, there is an argument it's ONE tier above, but certainly not three, due to the cons I mentioned earlier.

    Hiker works very well with splash. Play 5 cards in a high card build and all adds up every time. You get 20 chips per hand but it scales as the game goes on. You also the bonus stays so you can get rid of it to get a X mult joker later when you need to late ante. Downside is it does require playing many hands so you do get less economy.

    • @askthepizzaguy
      @askthepizzaguy 3 หลายเดือนก่อน

      Try it with rough gem and a diamond suit plus other scoring suit in the early game. Recommend specifically hearts or clubs as your scoring suit, as they have good synergy with the onyx agate or bloodstone jokers for late game, whereas spades has the arrowhead which is just more chips and you got your chips from hiker. The changing of the suit on the card won't erase the chips accumulated, and you can start turning your hearts or clubs into the scoring cards you need for late game with mult or glass or other enhancements. I like running a two or three suit build early and then folding those suits into each other, ending with one suit after I pass the boss blind that negates that suit.
      Diamonds aren't a late game suit because they only give econ rather than score, but I run diamonds alongside the suit I do intend to use late, and turn the diamonds into that suit. Mainly because rough gem exists. This, or the jokers that give you money for played hands/cards, allow you to use your hands to generate econ as opposed to your unused hands being econ.
      It's kind of a must for playing around hiker, because the best way to scale hiker is to use as many hands as possible, or have photograph or hanging chad or other retriggering jokers. But until you find those, I recommend a half diamond suit build and half whatever other suit you intend to use for late game build, and with hiker, I don't need more chips, so I don't recommend spades as the late scoring suit.
      This also leaves it open to pivot to clubs or hearts based on which jokers you get, since your diamond cards are going to pivot to another suit in the first place.
      You could also use smeared joker to essentially turn your entire diamond suit into hearts, or you can use wildcards to make them multiple suits at once. I find wildcards have their most utility if I actually dedicate my most useless base suit as the wildcard suit. I turn diamonds into wilds a lot, or spades, and then whatever is left in clubs or hearts if that's not my target suit in the end.
      I also find having a suit dedicated to not scoring and just utility to be great, for example, blue seals and steel enhancements, purple seals, gold enhancement, stone cards, whatever you need to use that otherwise turns the card into a not useful card to play for score, put them in the diamond suit. Copy it until your whole suit is nothing but utility. You can play it with rough gem for more econ, you can hold them in hand for more planet cards, you can discard them for more tarot cards, you can turn them into stone to play alongside other suits and ranks in a pair build or high card build... diamonds are the suit that you don't want to play for scoring purposes to begin with, but you can make the whole suit useful for econ and utility.
      Similarly, depending on my jokers if I am running any kind of suit build with flushes, flush five, flush house, all of the other three suits either get tarot turned into my scoring suit, or deleted, or turned into utility. I end up with 3 utility suits that have almost no cards in them, slowly getting consumed by my Prime suit, but there's no rush to turn their suit because I don't use those cards for scoring chips or mult anyway. I largely only turn their suit because I can get desperate for a fifth card in a suit sometimes, but it's only for emergencies at that point.
      Also, because you're playing one suit for scoring, all the bonuses for hiker are getting applied to the same smaller set of cards over and over. Hiker naturally wants you to play fewer cards, so I like hiker for specific rank builds like 3+ of a kind, and I build my deck around that, or I like hiker for specific suit builds like hearts or clubs or spades.
      In those cases, I always have a ton of diamond cards that are the wrong rank or suit to be played for score, and that's where I love to plop my blue seals, purple seals, gold enhancements, steel, though I do split it and put steels into my point suit as well so I can copy that card when I'm copying the correct suit and making more of it. But before I choose a point suit, I put steels on the king of diamonds or the queen of diamonds, I put blue seals on the king and queen of diamonds, I put gold enhancements and purple seals on the low card diamonds, and I put the gold seals on the ace of diamonds. That comes in handy when I change their suit to my scoring suit.
      It requires less moves. Ace of diamonds with the gold seal enhancement turns directly into my hanging chad ace for free money before I play my scoring hand, even after I change its suit. It already has a ton of chips, especially with hiker, meaning this can be my card I play to get chips while other ranks get played for mult, or other aces get played for mult.
      King of diamonds or queen of diamonds with the blue seal and steel enhancement don't need to ever change suit except for emergencies, and are the correct rank and quality to benefit from triboulet and baron and whatnot, or 1 strength away. They are also 1 tarot away from any suit I want.
      Low card diamonds with purple seals or gold seals or other random steels don't ever need to be any specific suit or rank, you discard them. Easy decisions being made here.
      Or I can make these cards into glass, assuming they are the correct rank if I am playing a rank based build, and then I don't play them and I start copying them. I tarot the glass 3 at a time, and then I start copying the glass of the correct suit, without it impacting my build. I can save the glass for later by enhancing the wrong suit with glass, allowing me to play the correct suit without glass.
      Utility suit. It's a great strategy. Utility ranks- kings and queens and jacks and 10s of your least played suit get the enhancements and seals that you want to play or hold, red seals, gold seals, blue seals, steels. Lower ranks that are not your scoring rank are where you put gold cards and purples. You glass the correct rank and copy it, and hopefully have a tarot to instantly change their suits since you have them in your hand since you just copied them.
      Oh, utility suit. I love it so much. Works GREAT with hiker and all flush builds and honestly, a lot of the time.
      It doesn't work well with things like pair builds and 3oak and 4oak without modifying the deck, since you need to be able to play all your suits in rank builds early, but once you start copying a specific card to score, it works. And it works great with all suit based scoring.

      Then for business card. Face cards are my go-to to steel/gold. (Baron, shoot the moon, Midas and ride the buss all push for not playing them) I often hold them in hand much more than I play them.

    • @Droid6689
      @Droid6689 5 หลายเดือนก่อน

      @ZainoTVLive Playing two pair is less of a drawback imo than not being able to discard or play face cards. If you aren't discarding you're not playing better than two pair anyway and similar for the face cards with the added drawback of being in positions where you're out of discards and staring down a hand full of face cards.
      As for the face cards in hand v played. In decks where you want face cards in hand you're not usually leaving a hand full of upgraded face cards till late game when you wouldn't want an econ joker anyway. The business card gives you the econ to upgrade and build your deck to get there. You're probably not playing that many high card/pairs with a clutch of face cards for Reserved Parking early game unless you got some killer jokers early, and even then you'd rather have business card because it pays out at twice the rate and pops off on the higher volume of retrigger jokers

Most of the time, Green isn't worth taking for most builds especially since you need to build it up, and it scales so slowly. Pick up Fortune and (as you said) you get minimum 15 mult flat. I don't want a joke that can betray me and sink down that isn't something like a food joker. Constellation is great for later antes since it scales so easily, and Fibonacci is great for retriggers. Green is highly overrated, almost useless and I never take it.

    Your opinion on Superposition is my exact opinion! Localthunk doesn't want jokers to have more than one effect, so it's unlikely we'll actually see that change, but if there is ever a mod that adds that effect to Superposition I will 100% use it with no shame. I just think as it is now, it is both bad and not particularly fun. If it had an effect that fundamentally changed the way you play the game, it would suddenly be fun even if it was still bad (though I think it having both effects would make it awesome.) I wouldn't mind if it just made straights wrap around and lost the tarot generation, yes it wouldn't be very good at that point, but at least the potential is there to have a fun Superposition build, whereas right now I don't think it's even fun if you somehow can manage to get it to go off consistently.

    Jumping in to start some Obelisk discussion. I think its one of the most powerful Jokers for Gold Stake runs. You make some good points that it can be challenging to pilot, but it can singlehandedly turn a doomed run into a win & it can carry a player through Violet Vessel to the finish line.
    Of course you need to save up between 15-20 counts of most played hand (Flush, Two Pair, & Pair have all been effective options as the most played hand to save up). As long as you are careful to keep a low early count of High Card, you'll always be able to play a High card to get out of tricky situations later in the game.
    It sure can be challenging or tricky to pilot. Some games seeing Obelisk in the shop you might pause the game to draw up a gameplan about whether there's a effective path to leveling it up. Sure it requires a lot of careful attention But Overall, its saved so many miracle runs on Gold Stake that its right up there with Blackboard, Campfire, Baron etc as some of the most powerful Jokers for winning Ante 8 of Gold Stake.

      Adding some more useful Obelisk notes:
      Often after picking up an Obelisk in Weeks 1-3, it can be beneficial to keep it at X1 while storing up more charges into your Most Played Hand. Similar to a old-school Vampire where you buy it early for its potential to snowball during the last three Antes 6-8. Like a young Vampire it can look weak during the first few rounds, but with good planning & patience it can grow into one of the strongest jokers for defeating Gold Stake Violet Vessel

    on red card, I saw that video when trying to get the negative record, you skipped a lot...
    standard packs are more likely to be skipped than not (looking for purple seal, or that one or two specific red seals)
    planet packs can be easily be skipped if you don't get the appropriate planet to the hand you're working towards
    spectral packs are a toss up from what I've seen in general
    tarot packs you're more likely to use one of the cards than not, the 3 card ones can be a toss up, but you're more likely to get a tarot card than not...
    if you're buying the packs anyway, red card can scale relatively quickly and be used on blinds until 6 or 7... it's not that bad

    Is there any way to view your tier list properly? It's a pain to view it in a video. I openned a link in a description but it's not your tier list there, it's just a page of all tier lists for this game made by god-knows-who. Every tier list is different. Idk how to find yours or any other good one?

    • @ZainoTVLive
      @ZainoTVLive  5 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      It's still very relevant to consoles as the changes were not massive. The only ones I think has huge differences in rankings would be 8 ball & vampire. Bloodstone would be one tier lower as well!

      @@joelh2286 Yes, you can get into the e20s on most normal decks with just baron/mime, res stamped steel kings. Once you add Blueprint and brainstorm it skyrockets.

    Im here to try and bargain lucky cat up a tier.
    Although its a little hard to start up, needing lucky cards and, well, luck, the payoff is INSANE.
    Think about it, you built your deck around lucky cards, which gives higher mult than a lot of common jokers AND builds your economy for free, making finding synergy and more magicians easier.
    Speaking of synergy, literally almost anything. Because the cat is entirely self contained into lucky cards, you can work it into other builds like baron and shoot the moon, as well as hack if you play your cards right. As well as those other cards, you can play any hand and it just works, and it works amazingly if you choose to build the deck around it.
    In conclusion lucky cat is a versatile, somewhat consistent economy generator, that has some amazing mult from just a few tarots.

    the only thing obelisk is good at is "saving" lower stake runs by letting you pivot to a different hand type to focus on, and even then it has an extremely hard ceiling and can never take you into endless at all. It being a rare is the final nail for me, I would def put it in F but maybe I'm just mean lol

    I’m down on Supernova but it seems like the only additive mult scaler that is fine with a Perishable or Rental sticker. Fortune Teller is good too but it’s a win-more: If you have 20 mult from it, you have 20 Arcana cards of value already.

    Something odd about Shortcut is that it also lets you make straight flushes and flush houses even if your flush only has 4 matching suits. It's really weird to get into the mindset to use it that way because of how unintuitive it is, but it's a nice bonus. It might also let you do flush fives with 4 of a suit + 1, but I didn't get the opportunity to try.

      @ZainoTVLive I disagree. Very few decks can get a single dollar out of it and once you get in higher stakes activating it is the same as a gold joker.

    • @realityisenough
      @realityisenough 5 หลายเดือนก่อน

      Nah you can really get it pumping each time, get like 8-10 gold a turn if you increase discards especially and have a no discard build

    • @Droid6689
      @Droid6689 5 หลายเดือนก่อน

      @realityisenough The things that have to fall into place for that to happen are extremely unlikely. If 90% of the time a gold joker is better then it's just the better card.
      If you're on white stake with both discard vouchers and ramen then sure, but most jokers pop off on white stake so that's hardly relevant
