I lost my first child on November 4, 2019, and my second on May 31, 2021. Neither of them took a breath into this world. I wanted both of them to experience this world the way that Dierks and his son have been able to experience this world. I traded in real estate for most of my life(I am 62 this summer). in 2014 my wife and I started a roofing company with my son (who had worked for someone else for 5 years - and got ripped off many times), it was all to set my son up in roofing. I helped and ran the company with my wife doing the books. Here we are 7 years later and I just came off the roof this year, to run the ground operations because "the father and son company:" is so busy we cannot keep up....Thank God as a long distance runner I am in shape - this is not an easy trade!! I lost my first child on November 4, 2019, and my second on May 31, 2021. Neither of them took a breath into this world. I wanted both of them to experience this world the way that Dierks and his son have been able to experience this world. I have always wanted to be this kind of father, and Dierks was able to put in music video form how I wanted my children's life to be. I will always be grateful for this song.

Let me tell you a story. I traded in real estate for most of my life(I am 62 this summer). in 2014 my wife and I started a roofing company with my son (who had worked for someone else for 5 years - and got ripped off many times), it was all to set my son up in roofing. I helped and ran the company with my wife doing the books. Here we are 7 years later and I just came off the roof this year, to run the ground operations because "the father and son company:" is so busy we cannot keep up....Thank God as a long distance runner I am in shape - this is not an easy trade!! But the story is....if and when you get an opportunity to work with your son or daughter, please enjoy every minute. I have had more satisfaction in the past 7 years of my life than I deserve....I am truly blessed, and I am not a religious man. I just love my son :) This song.....tells it all...Dierks is the man
