How did you get to the really tight spots between his pants and hands for example? I started painting this the other day on Nightingale and there are some tight spots that are just a pain to get to without bending the miniature.
Hey Soccastar001 Thanks for watching the video and leaving a comment. I used a very small brush to get into the hard to reach places. I did have to move the miniature a little when painting.
Just received my copy of Middara after everyone kept recommending it. Not I have even more minis to add to the pile of shame... Seems like I will clock in hours and hours on Nerd Knights channel this year with Middara, Heroquest, TED, Descent, etc... :)
Hey Doug I love Middara. The story is super in depth, almost to a fault but it is amazing. I'm glad to have you here, watching the videos and conversing about painting miniatures. I want nothing more to quit my day job and paint mini's full time. Maybe one day. But Middara, you'll love it. I just wish their mini's were a little bit better.
@@nerdknights1122 so I have the main box and the deal I bought before xmas included the mats and the ks1 promo box. But if I am looking at stuff correct, there are still a few standees without miniature upgrades, correct? I see what you mean by the quality, Maybe there are alt sculpts that can be 3d printed like gloomhaven?
@@TheRealDouglasJOlson Yeah that is correct. Not every monster or boss gets a miniature. I hope they change the quality and make it better. That would make that game so much better.
@@nerdknights1122 Given the popularity of the game even with the quality, I suspect this is a Money hides problems issue that I wouldnt count on a resolution of soon. However, there is always hope of a thriving 3rd party design market. Like gloomhaven. I think almost every monster in gloomhaven has a decent quality 3d print option out on thingiverse or similar. If you have the time and patience to download, print, base, and paint a few hundred minis... :)
@@TheRealDouglasJOlson I saw somewhere that they were going to do a Gloomhaven miniature print for all of the miniatures for Gloomhaven. Is that still happening?
