Hey Guys! I love this so much! Could you PLEEEAAASE tell me which colors you used for the roofs? I have to do this with my Terrain too! Would rly appreciate an answer
@squidmarminiatures Can't wait to see the end result! Would you mind sharing the brand of airbrush booth you are using in the video? Are they any good? Currently in the market looking for something similar myself...
Squidmar videos have the amazing ability to look polished and professional while also looking like w bunch of friends just hanging out. Its really impressive.
Never in my life did I ever think I’d wanna spend my life painting and getting paid to do it. Just recently got into miniatures and painting. It’s been great for my mental health it’s like a nice reset from my life and work just get lost into it. 5 hours fly by quick painting. Trying new stuff and getting better.
What I love in your video is you show 2 things : first, if you miss something, like a specific paint, you can work around the problem (by mixing, changing the approach...). And secondly, you deconstruct the received ideas that block creativity. We see here that you paint stone walls green... no problem. Turquoise roofs, no problem. It all works. It opens the shakras :-)
Boys, My brother and I and all of our mordheim friends are absolutely dying to see this fully revealed and in action. Please do a video with a completed custom board and houses showcasing some of your amazing minis in an immersive scene. Maybe you could both do a two week Mordheim Warband building challenge to go with it 👀 👀 👀? You could even get the community involved in assisting with warband lists, or themes or names to drive views and content interaction. Please 😂 my brother and I have been waiting what seems like 2 years. Love your stuff always guys!
These are so expensive..................................................................... I bought loads of them!!!! deffo don't regret it! lovely scenery
@@pianospawn1 running joke in the comment section. I think it's funny to keep it going, and comments help stroke the TH-cam algorithm and potentially leads to more subscribers and views for a channel that I want to see succeed!
Amazing as usual, so pleasant to see you guys at work ! Honnestly you need to make a follow up video series of you playing this table in a D&D campaign after building it, would be so awesome !
I wore you’re squidmar into the AM shirt to LVO and went 5-1 and best in faction for deathwatch, having painted my whole army the week before after watching a year+ of your tutorials! Channeled some squidmar energy for the dubs!!
Marco Pierre White once said: "excellence is lots of little things done well". Emil, Lucas, you're stuff looks AMAZING because you do all the little things really well 😁😁😁
"The Fellowship of The Paint". Great work. What a colofenomentalistic effort!!! Hats of to all involved.including the secret CIA agent or whatever he is.
Great table! A little advice. Try a more thick white smoke, shoot the tabletop in rapid (166 fps at least) and use a silk screen between table and light gear. It will look even better )
Best thing to see some good old heroquest stuff at the end. The colourscheme of the houses is soooo great..got one of them on my painting table too...(since 4 years😂)....
Fu.., I envy you sooo much. You have the friends you can share this wonderful project with...and you seem to live somewhere where there is soo much snow! I live in Berlin/Germany. Hardly ever seen snow. If, than you see it coming down and melting asap leaving wet dirt. I love all your videos so much and they are all an inspiration for me. THANKS !!
Very nice you got back to this project, I was waiting for this one. Not the biggest fan of the green bricks, but I'll wait with the final comment how it all looks together. And thank you as it gives me a bit more energy to final stretch the city filled with Tabletop World creations I'm building.
I absolutely adore the paint scheme for this buildings and the glowing effect of the windows quite neat also. You are awesome guys never let nobody tell otherwise and affect you like: You succ.... nah you totally dont succ and i want a shirt with this buildings ordered to look like a very busy city street to be honest.
A table like this is my eventual end goal. I have all ghur trees painted to start a spooky city. This video just inspires me more. Thanks for sharing. And I can't wait to see it done.
JOY AND HAPPINESS! I was waiting since so long for the following of this awesomely cool project! And I must say I’m not disappointed! Thank you so much, Emil and Lucas!
I honestly would like to see a video dedicated to result, with miniatures like warbands and so, just to enjoy the whole thing. Basically, what you are showing in the end, but with longer time and more minis (with Scott voice from Miniature Miniac at the end of the sentence)
I was painting a few table top world buildings last night. I love those things. I have a dozen or so. I am totally addicted to building up a town with their buildings.
Looks like it's gunna be a fun project ! Epic colors so far ! Interesting how going all out on some details really makes the whole building pop (like the windows) while just contrast on others doesn't take away anything !
Squidmar - every piece needs to be painted to a high standard, with freehand wood grain, NMM and 20 layers of highlights. Me - eh spray em, contrast, dry brush and wash, done, maybe another dry brush.
I'm working on this same project with the AMAZING buildings from Tabletop World. Except I have to paint it all alone because I don't have that many awesome painting friends lol. Two years in, and I'm about ready to purchase and start on some city walls. CANNOT wait to see the finished table guys.
amazing, cant wait for the end result. also i hope that they think about big based models like a mawcrusher that they get at least an alley to fight in. a crowded alley city would be fun aswell with the right armies
@@SquidmarMiniatures I can’t imagine why haha. I’m sure sinking 1000+ hours into a single project is (creatively and physically) exhausting. Congratulations on the release of your paint line and wet pallet! They look beautiful and I’ve got my eyes on them for sure 👀
Emil I have to hang my head in shame 😂 I have two Warhammer Fantasy Fortresses and I have painted them all except 3 towers and it’s been like that for over 4 years 😂😂😂😂 blue grey stone ❤
it is most humorous to me that some painters in North America will cry about weather and humidity while priming in their videos, meanwhile Squidmar and Co are out there like badasses priming in the snow - and it's not even a thing to them. Just a way of life.
MASSIVE thanks to tabletop world for the houses!

Scandy aesthetic
I 1000% agree with this. I feel like Im watching friends do their thing in 4K with perfect editing. Thanks for making us a part of this guys 💪🏽🔥
Guess it is a lot of work and talent to make it look "easy and unforced"
Yeah exactly, they clearly work really hard at it and also definitely pull it off. Their talent and drive is something I both appreciate and envy.
That is What a professional photographer can do 🎉
It was extremely fun to visit and paint wood!! I’ll come back anytime :)
I am fully expecting an epic 52 week series of the most incredible mordheim table ever created! Cant wait to go on the journey!
Am I the only one thinking this would make brilliant scenery for a Curse of Strahd campaign? Welcome to Barovia.

Great to see, sorry I couldn’t make it. Next time 👍
Next time! 🥳
Spraying ork flesh on bricks,
Mental image of Emil shoving gits into a woodchipper
Despite how spoopy the green/teal buildings are the warm OSL glow coming from the windows makes them feel oddly cozy.
This is dope! What would be even cooler?! Explaining the fish tattoos!!!
Swedish Fish
Dude likes to fish. Don't think there's much more to it.

Great balance of painting, talking and good with a longer reveal. Usually they end up being a bit abrupt and short!
Awesome videos thanks guys! Could you maybe include some instructional parts to videos like how you guys painted wood/moss effects?
Perfect for Mordheim - also explains the fish tattoo mystery!

It's Magic 🥳🥳🥳
You should build your smoke machine into the gaming table so that you can always have that epic eerie smoke effect drifting through the town

"The Fellowship of The Paint". Great work. What a colofenomentalistic effort!!! Hats of to all involved.including the secret CIA agent or whatever he is.
That dry brushing looked so satisfying.
I don't even paint or play Warhammer and I love this frickin channel.
Damn, those look great. I think once you get the table done, you should each do (kit-bash and paint) your own custom Mordheim Warbands.
Great table!
A little advice. Try a more thick white smoke, shoot the tabletop in rapid (166 fps at least) and use a silk screen between table and light gear. It will look even better )
the "tiny reveal" gave me suuuper chills. absolutely hyped for this series!! keep it up guys! :)
Bro called out sick from work to paint houses and doesn't want to get caught on TH-cam... Gotta respect the grind ahahah.
I mean at the end of the day, he’s legally given sick days. He can do whatever he likes with them haha
Wow, when you put down the minis in the tiny reveal. Such nostalgia :)
Best thing to see some good old heroquest stuff at the end. The colourscheme of the houses is soooo great..got one of them on my painting table too...(since 4 years😂)....
We are waitingggggg
Super excited for this series! Always love coming along for the journey!
You guys are probably the hardest working TH-camrs out there.
As you can see, even we use slave labor from time to time. Can't take all credit for this one 🥳
Phew, agree, you are all the hardest working TH-camrs there are. Absolutely love the “mini” reveal!!
I is so good to see these magnificent models in a colour other than grey!!

Waterdeep vibes with this environment. So fucking sick.
The reveal on this video was one of your very best. Great job guys!
Nice collaboration of painting friends. It all looks great.

How can you class that much glorious terrain as a "tiny" reveal XD. Excellent work from you two and the team!

Looking forward to the complete table.
