At 9:03 with the rock that players wanted to interact with... interactables are a really important topic that not many game devs seem to talk about. Players absolutely love interactables, but it can be hard to remember these little things as a dev instead of as a player. They're not important to the story, mechanics, or anything like that, so this stuff gets overlooked often. The thing is, it gives the player an extra little thing to do, gives the game a bit of uniqueness, and in some cases can make the game more memorable (think about breaking pots in Zelda). So now any time I make any sort of decoration that looks the least bit interactable, I turn it into something that _can_ be interacted with, even if it's something really simple. It adds a little more fun, usually without much effort.
seeing the game images really hits in another way. The sprites that you posted on discord looked great, but seeing all together and alive is beautiful, gratzzzz
amazing video, and it s really amazing to see the progress you made in your game and the effort put in this journey, keep up the good work and the game looks amazing artistically and gameplay wise too
I saw your booth at Gamescom and it's one of the few games I remembered, basically because of the cute name and art style. However that corner was so flooded with people, I didn't get a chance to try your game. :( But it's cool to see your video about it :)
Great Video. Was so cool to talk to you at gamescom and your game is so cute and has so much potential! :) Keep up the amazing work! I'm sure it will all be worth it in the end. :3
Your video was fantastic! It's truly inspiring to see the progress you've made in your game and the dedication you've poured into this journey. The game looks incredible, both artistically and in terms of gameplay. Keep up the great work!
Thank you! :) For each character I record someone speaking some syllables and sounds. Then I map every fourth letter or so to a sounds with some random pitch offset. For Emma I used my own voice.

Great video! And your game's art is so cute, love it!
(also, I'm officially starting a petition to make the giant cat bug at 10:40 into a feature)

A new WolKa video!!!!
As a person who is interested in the industry - this is really fun to watch and expanded my knowledge about game dev.

The character art looks so good!
Gaming conventions always look like so much fun. I never gone to one but I like to vicariously watch other devs do it. Your game looks great btw!
I thought so too until I went to Gamescom. There was an overwhelming number of people and I only went on the Friday..
