    "Light tasks, like office work"? Yall need to stop this already. The lowest spec configuration is at least 3 times as powerful as an office work laptop.

    As this is business oriented Laptop, probably the reason is that expensive

      Yes, but its such a good one, I want people to be able to buy it when it's on sale. We are price tracking it on our website

    • @adequatequality
      @adequatequality 2 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      That doesn’t really make sense because it’s not like this has any more powerful parts than more cheaply priced laptops. A “business” laptop really just means something that you can do office tasks and general web browsing on. This thing is severely overpriced regardless

      business laptops have features and merits that factor into the price regardless of specs
      because people like you don't understand that, companies make cheaper laptops as well

      @@TheSonoranSniper That's exactly my point. These "features and merits" that you speak of is just word vomit used to try and justify the overinflated price of business laptops. You don't need any more RAM or processing power than what most consumers can simply use for at-home use. Believe me, I've worked in IT and engineering. Now if we're talking about programming or professional editing/design work, that's a different story that doesn't fall into the "corporate" category

    It's extremely overpriced, like really absurd.

      Yes. It's outrageous. Needs to drop to the range I mentioned

      And the price fell all the way down once the next gen launched. If you don't mind buy the 1-2 generation behind.

    I hate how Lenovo prices their laptops. It’s ridiculous that they cannot just provide a regular MSRP and sell it at that but instead they jack the price up to like 3x what it is worth and then throw it on a 50-70% off “sale” regularly.

    Look this is business so compare them based on specs but support and reliability of the laptop for years to come

    For what its capable of for the price, if you think need it then just buy a $400 laptop.

    Hey Josh, I live in India and soon my college is gonna start with many others. Can you make a separate video for laptops under a 1000 dollars or 90000 rupees for college students understanding the indian market. it would be a great help.

    I got my Thinkpad X13 Yoga Gen 4 (upgraded display + 1TB) at around 1,450 dollars during Black Friday last year so the trick is just to wait for the right time. ;)

    Beware the battery life. My 2021 x1 carbon hasn't given more than 3-4 hrs when new, and barely 2 hrs now

    We need another review of the HP pavilion plus, I see they updated both the Intel and AMD chipsets. I'm curious to see how they perform compared to last year's.

    Do not ever buy a X1 Carbon. Suddenly your battery will not charge. Lenovo REFUSES to fix this issue. Google "Lenovo X1 Cabon wont charge" and you will find every single generation, hundreds of thousands of results. "Just push the reset button" the reset button isnt going to fix physical battery connection issues. And guess what, you cant even take the battery out and run it off of wall power. It NEEDS a battery to work. The most regret I have ever felt for a purchase.

    • @JustJoshTech
      @JustJoshTech  2 หลายเดือนก่อน

      Thanks Rachel. I hadn't heard of this issue

      @FordSierraIS 2 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      eh.. whatever you search you will find results. batteries die, and they are not using a unique battery technology in x1. let me guess, your statistical data is your x1 laptop that had a faulty battery and you googled it xD - i had a x1 for 4,5 years now still running on the original battery

      Seems like a problem on newer X1C like G9 onwards. Personally, I never liked the X1C of all the premium Thinkpads as its serviceability and thermal weaknesses were never worth the thin and light profile to me.

      @JustJoshTech  2 หลายเดือนก่อน

      Wow. Can you post a link? Is it just the new x1c or all?
