I'm suffering with the break-in of my new White's Drifter 3.0 boots. These are collaborations with Rose Anvil which is a Utah based company. I'm hoping to get my Nikon F3T out early next year to take some photos. Hope you have a great Thanksgiving. I've been air curing a duck for two weeks and will be smoking it with cherry wood in the oven (hopefully it will not smoke me out of the house).
It's always hard at first with boots. As with many, I used to have to wear steel toe boots for work. The first week or two after getting a new pair was rough. They should make machines that can break them in lol.
@@AmericanExpatDaily 'Rose Anvil' sells 'Boot Breakers' that can be added to boots to help cushion the soles. They have leather and some other material that can be blended together to meet your needs.
Every one is waiting for the successor of the rx100vii, it need some hardware updates for 2025 we need, USB C, 4k60fps, 4k120fps and 10bit video,. Better battery life. Pocket 3 of DJI is now The 1 inch sensor king. I hope sony listen to the customers.
I need to track down one of these DJI pocket cameras. A friend and I used to frequent their main store in Beijing years and years ago. They make a good product.
A shame you are putting so much emphasis on the video capabilities of the RX100 VII, as this is not that cameras primary intention (that is why they made the ZV range after all), and probably also not the main attraction for someone looking to buy (as me) 🙂 OK, it takes nice stills, but you only show them almost in a blink, so not much information to gain from this video in that department unfortunately. TBH, I couldn't care less about the video capabilities of a camera with a 1" sensor !!
Perhaps its worth a revisit with a greater emphasis on its photographic capabilities. I am always looking at these things from the video perspective, which in this case is a bit ridiculous as you pointed out. thanks for the comment.
I love the format of your video, very chill. Could improve more on the microphone a little bit. soothing voice btw
Audio is one aspect of the videos that I am always trying to get dialed in lol. Glad you enjoyed the video.
Looks great
It's a fun little camera. It has its limitations, but for something that fits in your pocket it does a great job.

Its funny you mention that camera. My wife was determined to get the RX100 VII. The guy at the store kept trying to get us to buy the ZV-1.

@@AmericanExpatDaily we still have many of em here in my city. Thing is, it cannot zoom which render anything i wanna do outside to a moot.

Same here mate, i don't buy a camera for its video capabilities. Wasted video really.
Im going to have to revisit the camera and focus more on the photo side.
The photo at 7:54 was nice
I love going over there, it's a pretty spot.
