So here is the Extreme upgraded 120amp JLB Cheetah 11101. Comes with a 120amp hobbywing esc & Flysky electronics. It looks very similar to the older model but overall a nice upgrade over the 80amp no name ESC.

The Zombie would have damaged your car and shrugged off that lil crash and ready for more!!!! been running my Zombie for a month now around 45 packs thru it and nothing has broken yet the Zombie is a real beast!! Steve, you need to install the upgraded slipper clutch so you can loosen it a bit. I did that with mine, and it won't lift unless you jam on the throttle right away. Makes it much more stable at high speeds, as does a steering g gyro. Then you can easily hit 105 kmh.

Love this guy and very nice swift mate well on Christmas Day I tell you a little story got my son the 21101 jlb out of the box he was excited 😆 already played on mine he took it across a filed at a family house there’s a shed at the bottom he must of been doing 50mph court the front wheel on corner of shed and rip the the front wheel clean off to lower arms snapped was so gutted for lucky I had spares I rebuilt it after two hours on Xmas day :( now it’s perfect again I noticed tho when you remove the wheel the ball joint lugs must not be tightened up full other wise you don’t get steering i fort I mentioned that love this buggy and love the channel I think the Allen keys could be improved as they very soft

Tossing up between the 11101 and the 21101. Watched both your videos on each. The 21101 appears to be a bit lower and can reach the higher speeds thanks to better tyres +wing and the 11101 seems to be more of a truck for bashing as it looks higher.
Which would you recommend? I'd probably be doing mainly speedruns on the road with a bit of bashing at the local park on a 4s.
Do you also have a recommendation for a 4s lipo and charger for these?

I broke a part near the dobone and i had 3wheel drive so i took out the driveshaft so its rwd now and its much better it drifts and doesnt wheelie as easily

Unless your on a salt flat, I don't think anyone could get a clean 4S top speed run on this. Seems like this car on 3S is at its limits as to what it can handle.
I think anyone who watches your channel would know by now the the 21101 is the one to pick over the original Cheetah.

Yes, you mentioned that in your videos. The tyres on this seem like they may have good traction on grass and sand but very poor lateral grip on most surfaces and track bad because of the heavy tyres combined with the week servo. Your 21101 seemed to track nowhere near as much even though it has the same sevo; it's amazing what a set of tyres can do!
Hi. Does the 120 a version hold 4s easily or did yours brake the motor or anything? Can you do a video on how to set up the cheetah on 4s but set the car to make sure it doesnt blow up

Can I ask you a technical question about my JBL cheetah? When I put in reverse it slow to respond, I have played with throttle adjustments to the point the car is almost creeping in backward with the trigger in the neutral position. What can I change are adjust?

The 11101 if it is the 120a because of no rear wing to break off with the lights with the wheelie bar, plus it look cooler because It doesn't have the numbers on the side.
I'd like to ask which is the best of these for bashing out of the box. They are around the same price range i think. Or would you like to suggest another rc truck from banggood.

+Corey Cash my dhk is still my favourite. Maybe not as fast in a straight line but overall a better handling truck. Parts for both a pretty easy but the Zombie is easier to get in the US

I plan on upgrading my original jlb cheetah remote to the flysky that comes with this jlb.
Did i hear u mention it was no throttle settling to turn down the throttle.

I have one of these on order, I ordered an additional 3s 4000 battery with it, curious about the 4s batteries, still trying to familiarize with how this all works. When ordering a 4s would I need to keep the voltage the same at 11.1 for 4s or up to the 14.8 volt, I assume the connector is the same with the dean style, only the charging plug is wider. Thanks for any info.
Everything is the same. The esc will automatically detect the higher cell count
why is it 10 km/h slower on 3s than the jlb 3 speed?

3s is plenty nuff for me. I break differential gears and bend dog bones on 3s. I couldn't imagine the damage i could do on 4s.

dhk zombie 8e, its a little slower than the cheetah and bison, but its much stronger and you're going to have a hard time trying to break it
