    I wasn’t even looking for this but this helps a lot because every time I want an asset to match another asset, the material never looks right. So thank you!

    Can I duplicate the static mesh and every copy has its own UV mapping without increasing the size of the file ?

    How are you even moving them around? I don't have the gizmo when i select UV's and can not move them.

      Press "w". On the top-right corner of the UV canvas you're going to see the icon changing from select to translate.

    Thanks Ryan this is SO what i needed.. next question, what if I want to paint the mesh using the paint vertex colors in modeling mode??? I can't find ANYTHING about this and I can't work it out :(

    How do you cobble together two different materials on a singular mesh? For example, modeling a log with bark texture and rings texture.

    Aren't you getting the error about the mesh having overlapping UVs?

      Hello, no, stacking uvs is fine in this case as the texture is tiling or trim texture.
      This method is reusing textures…
      Overlapping uvs when baking out a lightmap or a prop asset that uses a unique texture for example is when issues are caused.
