I wasn’t even looking for this but this helps a lot because every time I want an asset to match another asset, the material never looks right. So thank you!
Thanks Ryan this is SO what i needed.. next question, what if I want to paint the mesh using the paint vertex colors in modeling mode??? I can't find ANYTHING about this and I can't work it out :(
Hello, no, stacking uvs is fine in this case as the texture is tiling or trim texture. This method is reusing textures… Overlapping uvs when baking out a lightmap or a prop asset that uses a unique texture for example is when issues are caused.

Can I duplicate the static mesh and every copy has its own UV mapping without increasing the size of the file ?
How are you even moving them around? I don't have the gizmo when i select UV's and can not move them.
Press "w". On the top-right corner of the UV canvas you're going to see the icon changing from select to translate.

How do you cobble together two different materials on a singular mesh? For example, modeling a log with bark texture and rings texture.
Sir can we copy uvmap of one object to another object? I need a tiled roof of 4 sides pls
Aren't you getting the error about the mesh having overlapping UVs?
