No one ever showed me the red zone green zone concept. This really worked for me. (As does all of the great instructions on this channel) I’m 66 years old and have just changed to the single plane swing and thanks to Graves golf, have been improving ever since. Thanks for all you do! 9:18
Shot a 3 over par 75 last week after a few months of implementing your training Todd. Playing rounds of golf with one ball now. I used to walk up to a tee box hoping the drive hits the fairway. Now I can choose ‘left, right, or middle’ of the fairway and execute the shot with total confidence. People I play with just shake their heads and tell me how much fun it is to watch me play alongside them. Never in my life (thirty years of playing) have I hit so many fairways and greens in regulation! Golf has never been this much fun! Thank you sir. Sincerely.
Exactly what I was looking for! Thanks for this inspiration. After 5 yrs playing golf, I already established pre-shot routines, but only on the course. The idea alone to include practicing the routine during range training delights me...thank you for this important piece of the puzzle.
Shot 3 over par on the front 9 today, Todd. Waiting on the feeling of greatness club to ship. The swing is finally clicking. Worth a year of unconditioning my old swing concepts and falling into the form of the moe Norman swing. So god dang grateful for what you’ve brought to the golf world, and world.
“Be a Player” is a great read supporting your Green Zone/Red Zone calling it Think Box/Play Box and then adds a third “Memory Box”. All has to do with keeping left brain analytics and decision making in the “Think” box, right brain feelings in the “Play” box and only positive experiences in the “Memory” box.
Awesome lecture. Working on it. This will develop a good Pre-routine that will hold up under pressure. Whether or not you use this exact routine is not important. Just have one. Thanks Todd!!
It's disappointing for me that you don't have a qualified teacher here in the UK. I'm sure my transition to the single plane would have been quicker and easier with someone helping. That said, Tuesday was the best iron striking round in a long time. Not on good terms with the driver at the moment but that just needs a bit more work. Looking forward to getting on the course again now. Thanks Todd.
Thanks for all the great videos. Im trying to come back from surgery and took up single plane to ease my body back into golf. Can you go into details on what shafts and equipment, lie angle for single plane swing if any for fitting purposes? Thanks
Todd I've been looking through your videos for some time now, and was just curious if you had any shot shaping information for single plane? Different setup or positioning for draws vs fades? Loving the amazing content!
Is there a good rule of thumb to figure out how much front bend you should have? Is there a reference point? With side bend, I try to have my nose over the inside of my knee. Something like that? Thanks.
I hit well in practice, on the course not so good. Maybe I am not swinging the club hard enough to get through the swing. I just dont know, what to do.
Just watch out for a good teacher close to your place...and book some lessons, maybe? Additionally, you will have to follow his device...as Moe declared: you can't buy it!

Nice playing.
Yes, trouble on course but hit it good on range. Thanks for this video.

For me it's "Hold my beer" in the red zone. Find the nearest tree for the yellow zone. Then go to the green zone and hit the shot. :)

Excellent!
👍🏾 Good lesson.
Thanks for watching

Great tip!👍🏼 Also changing clubs. Too many people get repetitive with the same club.
Good idea.

Wil do thanks.
Todd, I live in Southern California. How can I do a clinic or some kind of lesson in this area?

Great video 95% is mental

You can. Just open/close stance keep face square to target and swing down stance line for fades and draws

45 degrees is average but club fitting is the best way to gauge this. If you clubs fit, you know how far to stand.
Moe Norman - "the longest walk in golf is from the range to the first tee"
Solid!
Thanks.
I like it!!!!

@@ToddGravesGolf my driving range is closed due to covid
Don’t you ever take a practice swing in the red zone, it’s something I do and seem to see pro golfers do, thanks
No. But if you do, do it outside the red zone.
