thanks for another great video Sue! After 5 years of breathing dusty air in my 2017 Jeep JK I just discovered the geniuses at FIAT never put a cabin air filter in my Jeep 🙄
You don't need to remove the mesh. Just open mesh door and replace

I dont see any ways we can removed the cabin air filter from a 2007 to 2010 Wrangler :(
No need to use a screwdriver to open the cage. Just pull straight down on the tabs a little and they easily unhook. And as others said, no need to remove the cage. Once you unhook the tabs it opens enough that you can get filters in and out pretty easily.
FOR 07 TO 10 WRANGLERS THERE IS NO AIR FILTER.
This is truth. Dont have any in 2010s

Crazy Question - is there a place for one? Is it possible that it was 'optional' at the factory but it will still accommodate one? 2007 Wrangler owner wants to know. :-)

So factory doesn't come with any? Is that normal? My 2015 jeep wrangler is the first vehicle I've owned with the option for cabin air filters and I just figured I'd replace them but there weren't any in there when I opened it up

Do you have a part # for a 09 JK. The same filter in this video will not fit a 2009 JK.

I have a 2010 JK sport and my plastic grill does not have the 2 tabs on the bottom nor does it appear to have the little tray inside the fan area to hold the 2-piece filter like you placed in yours ('where they seat'). Any suggestions or do you think there is a part I can get to replace that plastic grill so I dont have to tear apart the dashboard more than once? Thank you.

Could you do this for the 2010 JK? I know it uses the same filter, in fact everything is the same except for opening the cage.

How often do you have to replace the cabin air filter on a jk?
Depends on how often you use the air, how dusty of an environment you're operating in, and lots of other factors.
I have a 2018 Sahara. Is it the same thing? I don’t want to mess anything up. If so, where can I buy some filters locally?
Absolutely incorrect information. The 07-10 definitely don't have or use a cabin air filter. You guys really need to get the years correct on your videos as they are very often incorrect.

Hi, I have a 2010 JKU, and watched a ton of videos on how to change the cabin air filter, but my recycle door looks different than all the ones I've seen on here, and no latches on the bottom. Anyone else have this issue?

2008 seems like you have to take the dash off to get at the filters
Jeep jk has a different design compared to the new jl Wrangler me personally I like the jk style better than new jeeps.

This is not at all what my 2006 TJ looks like behind the glove box.
Probably cuz it's a TJ and not a JK. She is working on a JK. Your 2006 is the last year of the TJ.
The dealership here in Irving Texas tried to charge me $60 for that today

Worthless. She literally did not take the filter out. How do you not include that part?
