For all who know me by now, you know that I am not impressed by dress watches. They are just not my style and for that reason I never really pay attention to them. But the moment I saw this Frederique Constant I fell in love on the spot. Asked the guy to give it to me for a few days so I can share with you the reasons why I fell in love with this stunning piece!

Fredric constant is a brand that should be on everyone’s radar. In person and in hand their quality is up there with the best of them. You said it well I think this is a dress watch than be worn casual no problem. That is the way I’d probably wear it as I’m usually in shorts and a T
Nice video... I think this watch offers too much for its price and as you said , it's probably not a true perpetual calender , but on the same side ,you still get day , date , week, month and moonphase complications all in one whithout the need to sell a kidney to get the watch 😉. In addition , there is another big problem with true mechanical annual calenders and even worse with perpetual calenders , which is the fact that you need to keep them on winders all the time , and sometime , you may need to take the watch to the AD to adjust the year...plus the cost of service is astronomical...The fredeique constant in contrast , runs on a battery and doesnt require all that hassle. This is one of the watches that gets many compliments, specially from females. From a brand that is massively underrated in North America

Because its an annual calendar and unlikely to be anybody's daily watch, it totally makes sense to put a quartz movement in it.

I agree whole heartedly. Can you imagine only wearing this watch, say, once a week or two, and having to set all that stuff up again each time? And I do agree that not having a seconds hand makes a quartz watch much more tolerable.

I was immediately gripped on this as soon as i saw it. Watch out for the 38mm or 39mm as it's not as good looking as this larger one - the dial and hands are superior on this one

I've owned this watch for about 8 years, sadly I barely use it but it is a very attractive watch.

i have this watch 10 years. No observable wear on the plating. These are high quality through and through.
