    The balance in "square-type" pistols like the G45 is awesome. No surprise at their popularity.
    The fact that so many LE switched from the G17 speaks volumes.
    Keep up the great work, man. Happy New Year.

    I’ve been a Glock guy for the last 30 years and I love them. I work every day in the worst condition for a gun where they are exposed to see water, sweat, and sand. Recently bought a Canik mc9.
    I disassemble both guns side by side, my glove 23 and my Canik mc9, I have to confess that it was surprised by the quality of construction of the Canik, all of the metal parts are thicker and stronger than the Glock, and I mean every single part. Don’t follow the instructions of any of those stupid videos saying that you need to polish every part in the Canik for them to function properly. In the beginning of the production, they were using a striker spring two hard and stiff to compensate for pressure impose by the recoil spring. Just replace the striker For a Glock spring, which will be reducing about 2 pounds and it will work flawlessly. Remember, event, log had done some mistakes, just thinking about the Glock 44 and 66.
    No gun manufacture have a 100% perfect record. Canix are extremely tough guns, probably the best construction on polymer guns out there.

      People want striker triggers to be like 1911 triggers. Instead they need to realize they are more like a colt double action revolver. Once I started to think of them that way, the gen 5 trigger is awesome

    I have had a couple 43X's and always end up selling them off. I have a MC9LS on hold at my LGS and should be picking it up in a few days and look forward to shooting it. They are a bit "chunky" but they shoot great. Great review and lets see the rifle.

    Capacity is great unless you live in a state that has a maximum capacity limit. Then 10 rounds or less is what you have to work with. Then it comes down to which one fits your hand best.

    I chose the MC9 over the 43x because of the price and capacity. But you're right, its heavy when loaded up. I can only imagine how much more heavy the MC9L is with 17 rounds than the 43x

      Carry with pilgrim bullets! Theyre 50grain, low in weight and high in velocity and doesnt make the gun feel as heavy when all loaded up. Thats what i use when i carry my Mc9

    • @Chickenfriedstek
      @Chickenfriedstek หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      I don't mind the weight. Its a 3.5 oz difference. In holsters the size difference is minimal however the regular mc9 is shorter than the 43x and has 2 more rounds. If someone wants a short barrel skinny glock 19 gun.... this works. Unless you love the glock grip angle. Then why discuss and everything glock.

    Love the vid! Obviously I'm brand new to this game. Right now I lean Glock because of that track record of reliability. I know canik's are great, I've held a couple, very nice pistols. But I like the idea of knowing that when I pick up a Glock it's going to go bang. And if anything happens i can walk into my local gun shops and get what I need for it. Where the Canik becomes compelling to me is the MC9LS and if I'd get it over a Hellcat Pro or P365 XMacro. But in that 3.5 inch barrel range 100% give me the Glock.

    I haven’t shot the MC9L yet but from what have seen the 43X is a better choice. I think the 43 is not as snappy as people say it is and I’m not a Glock fan. Still prefer my 365’s but with night sights, a flat trigger shoe and PSA mags the 43 rocks.

    The 43x dissappears in my hands, and I can smother it into submission. Shoots better than my 19.
    My GF owns the 43x and shoots a cannik tp9 for competition. She doesn't like the 43x so as soon as the mc9ls arrives in South Africa. She'll be switching to that forbher carry and ill take the 43x.
    So for her the same grip and feel as her comp gun makes it a a great option.
    That said. I also got a nocturne C as a baclup carry I love how that shoots and its the same as my shadow2 comp gun, so there's that.

    MC9L all day over the 43x I have owned the 43x and the original mete mc9. When it came down to the original or the 43x I would pick the 43x but only because of the grip handle now that the MC9L has arrived it is just better shooting and has all the nice upgrades that the 43x don’t have as far as reliability I have never ever had a issue with canik or Glock but my new MC9 will be my new carry during certain months and my g19 will be my carry during certain months.

      @averagemarksman  หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      I simply prefer it to the Canik. I’d carry the Shield Plus over either options though and that’s probably why I continue to get rid of the 43X. The 43X is smaller than the Shield Plus and the Canik so it’s in a different category for me. If I could only have one it would be the Shield Plus - it checks all of the boxes.
