    I have gone through many micro 9s and had a 43x as my first. After all these guns I’m going back to the 43x for iwb carry. Just so comfortable in hand and very easy to control. It might not have the flashy features and mag size as other guns but it’s reliable and customizable and that’s the biggest selling point for me.

      Can’t argue with it, it is utterly reliable. As long as you’re comfortable, spending more money to get it up to comparable feature sets of other micro 9 pistols, right out of the box, you do you. At the end of the day Handguns are like cell phones and laptops, highly individualized, and fit finish to the person and their individual needs. Even though you’re spending more money, the upside is you will get a custom gunThat is exactly how you like it and fits like a glove. That’s an advantage of Glock, all the aftermarket parts allow you to essentially turn it into the Lego gun, the only feature that you can’t change is the grip angle. I think that grip angle is natural, just as Gaston Glock said it was, in one of his interviews. I have a love-hate relationship with Glock. Hate the price to get it up to my standards, love the reliability and the customization. Good choice. Don’t let the haters deter you, also I believe every new gun owners first handgun should be a Glock. :-)

    i really hope glock makes a MC9 equivalent; as in a double stack micro 9 with that holds 12rounds flush. With the canik, you can get a 2.5-finger grip, while a g26 can only do 2fingers

  • @BigZsethh
    @BigZsethh ปีที่แล้ว +2

    The slide on the 43x is actually a bit longer if you look. And the slide on the Glock seems to be thicker than the Canik.
    I like both of these options I’d probably go with the 43x tho mainly to do aero’s. I love that the canik has an oem 12 but with my edc Area’s and reliability are top notch for me.

    I own one glock a 42 and it’s been the only pistol I have purchased that did not work right out of the box. It’s also very easy to limp wrist it I have had all kinds of issues with it stove pipe jams failure to eject spent cases I do not trust that pistol and it’s collecting dust in my safe.Canik is crushing it my mc9 has had zero issues. My Taurus g3c worked right out of the box a Taurus but not glock and yeah I understand I’m comparing two 9mm to a .380 but I have fired a few types of fmj 380 and have had issues with all the brands. I’ll spend less money and buy canik cause I’m my experience and I’m an example of one but yeah glock is leaving a bad taste in my mouth and that sucks cause I like the size and feel in the hand of that little glock but if it don’t work it is what it is.

    Update: The PSA Micro Dagger 15 rd. mags work great in the 43x and without changing out the mag release and at nearly half the cost of the Shield mags. We're all lucky to be living in the "golden age" of concealed carry. But luck won't keep it going. For the money I'll keep my G43x.

I knew this was a problem before buying it. The trigger is awesome. Very accurate. When I get it back from Century, I have a nice Muddy River Tactical holster for it. Vedder makes a better holster, but they don't make one for the MC9 yet. I carried it a bit before sending it in. It's the first gun I can carry AIWB and sit down with it holstered.
