I FOUND AN ERROR! The High speed services that stop at strood (the hourly ones) also stop at gravesend, and the high speed services to ashford dont stop at strood or gravesend. you also forgot to mention the rare St Pancras to Maidstone services
Well done video! I always get confused about the train lines that go to Dartford, and which trains choose to stop at where on the Chatham Main Line between Rochester and Bromley South. Also I don’t think any Javelin trains go from Strood to Ashford Int’l, but some do go to Maidstone West.
There is a ghost train every weekday from charing cross to gillingham only and 2 trains a day to tonbridge from stood and 2 trains a day from st pancras to madistone west
The Victoria to Dartford via Bexleyheath service should be extended to Gravesend, and the Cannon Street to Gravesend should be cut back at Dartford. This would work because the Greenwich line already gets a service from Gravesend via Thameslink. Possibly keep the Cannon Street to Gravesend in the peak only? as Charing Cross isn't very far away for non peak travellers compared to Victoria.
Yes the Highspeed part of the diagram was the only error I saw too. The Highspeed line towards Ashford separates at Ebbsfleet. The Ashford line doesn’t go through Gravesend or Strood.
Southeastern are planning to replace the Class 465 and Class 465 Networkers in couple years and with new rolling stocks to be introduced. And the remaining Class 707 Desiro City to be transferred from South Western Railway to Southeastern with some already with Southeastern and are nicknamed “City Beam”.
"Grant SchNapps" !!!!! 😆😄😅 Well, he is a bit of a peach-flavoured shot 😆😅 You're pronunciations are always reliably hilarious. (PS. It's Grant Schapps .... no 'n' in the surname).
7:18 - You've listed the Class 465 twice. I think one is meant to be Class 466? ....and you said "Class 385" instead of Class 395 for the Javelins. You really should take your time and create more carefully. Then check your work. There are always so many errors in these videos. It detracts from an otherwise great presentation. As do the embarrassing pronunciations.
Those service diagrams are a masterpiece.
Random fact- Ramsgate has highest combination of trains to London. More than any other station. Around 9 I think
and also, I'd imagine Southeastern call at the most London terminuses of any operator
@@contrapunctusmammalia3993 yeah
@@contrapunctusmammalia3993 I think they used to terminate at waterloo as well
@@RobertThomas-io5jn when did that happen?
@@contrapunctusmammalia3993 I don't know, I just remember my dad telling me that once.
Great video as always, however I would love to see SWR, thameslink, southern or LNER 👀
Good information on this video.
I'd love to see LNER , EMR and Cross Counrty
Please could you do a video on cross country as they don’t go through London, I think they could be interesting
Video is being worked on as we speak :)
@@ashleyrabot thanks
Thank you for doing this it is a really helpful map and I have learnt many things that I have not known before. Keep making these videos I love them
I really like southeastern, the routes through London as well as high speed are interesting. Might be because I’m living in Kent though
Wow fancy seeing you here
London Overground is better.
@@oldtechnobodycaresabout To be expected tbh
@@eastlancsesteem alright Eric lad
@@eastlancsesteem In what way 😭
Sittingbourne to Sheerness alternates between an hourly and half hourly service
I’ve just discovered your TOC explained videos. These are really well done!
Please do LNWR/WMR (and you should offer your maps as printable pngs!)
Only 2tph through Greenwich now. The other 2tph are provided by Thameslink.
I FOUND AN ERROR!

Fantastic video, love the interactive map with all of the lines 🙏

Moving out of Ramsgate to Leighton Buzzard this month
Would be great to see a video on Greater Anglia :)
There is a ghost train every weekday from charing cross to gillingham only and 2 trains a day to tonbridge from stood and 2 trains a day from st pancras to madistone west
'Madistone' ? Also, there are a lot more than 2 trains a day on the Strood-Tonbridge route!
National Rail is showing train from Cannon Street to Woolwich Arsenal via Sidcup
There is also the occasional HS1 to Maidstone West 😊
1:18 "Hayes, via Catford Bridge"
Is that a Geoff Marshall reference?

You didn’t mention the Ramsgate to Charing Cross services. The ones from Dover typically continue to Ramsgate
HS1 divides at Ebbsfleet International
Can you do Greater Anglia, LNER or Transpennie Express pls
Thank you for a great video Ashley! You mentioned Elizabeth line being extended. Is that already decided and progressing in any way?
For London to Dover, its honestly not worth the mainline. Just take high speed, not too much more
HS1 Splits at Ebbsfleet, and not Strood

Nice and informative video :)
Very nice videos, I was wondering, what software do you use to create those animated map ^

They shouldn't get rid of the 465s- they're too cool
Absolutely. Maybe keep the Class 465s but get rid of the Class 466s.
@@Andrewjg_89 - 466s are better than 465s. 465 = top speed 75mph. 466 = top speed 90mph.
I want to see Thameslink explained.
Spot on pretty much, except the HS services arent rounders and HS trains via Ashford don't call at Strood.
Can you please do one of these for east Midlands railway please.
Hello from Margate!!
wow - SouthEastern terminate services at FIVE different london stations! is this the most of any train operating company?
6 If u count London Bridge...
@@georgedowns4034 They don't really terminate there. Only southern does.
Crosscountry or translink(The northern irish operator) please
Slightly wrong about the high speed, the one to ashford does not split at strood, doesn’t even go via strood and only go to Maidstone west off peak
Any chance of getting TransPennine Express?
Vote for it on my community page! It's defo on the table
HS1 does not have a station at strood
2:57 Canterbury East not West 😉
7:40 you said 385, not 395 😂
7:23 36 class 466 units

You missed off the Ashford to Hastings line
That's run by Southern to Eastbourne
That's not southeastern
