All right, all right, we know the 2025 Audi SQ8 doesn't pack the same 657 horsepower as the Lamborghini Urus S and Performante, but still...this refreshed mid-range version of Audi's flagship SUV still packs plenty of grunt to cart you and yours around with 500 horsepower, and some aggressive styling to boot! And it's also about a third of the price, with the MSRP expected to start just under $100,000. Roman takes a closer look at this new version of the SQ8 in this sunny Utah review.

He didn’t even touch on the fact that this is a mild hybrid (very mild) or that it can go into 4cylinder mode on the highway. It also has adaptive cruise control and launch control…ect. I wish someone would take the time to really do a deep dive into this model. It’s hard to find info out there. When we bought ours, I had to really dig deep to learn the features the SQ8 has to offer.
How do you like it? How long have you had it? Relatively reliable? I'm very close to picking up a SQ7
@@Raypepgreat vehicle after 30k miles. It drives great, sounds great, and has held up well. Aside from routine maintenance I did have the water pump replaced under warranty. Storage is good for me, and I have a hitch for the annual beach trip. Cubbies are a bit minimal. Mpg up to 25 highway at 70mph, though around town will fall to mid teens.
Roman...this 84 Delta 88 here is more aggressive looking, I say that respectfully of course.
Too used to older vehicles I guess
The MOAG the Mother of All Grilles.
I didn’t know an Audi could be a “budget” anything.. lol
Coupé would be french
Isn't that an RSQ8?
He's lost and just faking a review
No, it is the SQ8
@@evaristocorripio5434 yeah I looked at the video later tried to zoom in on the back of it to see I was just confused because he said it was the most expensive one but then I think he said the most expensive one he's tested so far when he called it the top dog or whatever but I thought maybe did they discontinue the RSQ8?
@@darrendaine4914 the new RSQ8 hasn't been announced in the USA yet, but in Europe it already has. One way to easily identify it is the chrome grille, the RSQ8 only comes blacked out or with carbon fiber. And the SQ8 has quad small exhausts and the RSQ8 the two big oval ones.

Does anybody know why u can’t get the gold exterior color with the red interior? It makes zero sense why Audi does this, the 2 colors aren’t in packages and don’t interfere with one another.
Im smoking right now watching you 🚬
Americans will do anything to avoid buying a wagon. 🤦🏻♂️
The sticker you show says it’s a 2024 model, but the headlights prove it’s a 25.
That sunroof headliner fabric looked floppy when he touched it, wth? 😮
The front looks like a large mouth bass.
😂😂😂🔥🔥🔥
Very enjoyable video; informative as well.
Glad you enjoyed it!
The RSQ8 indeed is
I now stop watching a video after the first ten minutes if these reviewers don't discuss Auto/stop start and whether it can be disabled or not. Period. I don't want stop/start that is out of my control.
I don't want anything to do with a sedan, small car or coupe and neither does my back, and I don't watch SUV reviews to be lectured on what I should want.
I want a 2 or maybe 3 row SUV. That has three letters: Sport Utility Vehicle. In my mind, Sport includes acceleration and handling in addition to being able to handle forest roads and similarly maintained trails. The 1980s suburban was a Utility Vehicle - I never found any Sport of any kind in that, but it did excel at Utility. I want a Sport Utility Vehicle (SUV).
Sweet station wagon.
