Your lost if you think Evo break down it the owner fault not everybody know who to tune up car or take care of them I bought cars that people say they break down never had. all are 300,000 only things. I need replacement are the spark plug, air filter, oil change, tires brakes only once I replacement a head gasket thermostat stuck close and I was run it home stop every time so I know I would have to replace the gasket.

It cuts boost because I’m guessing ur running a double pumper setup when u get below half a tank the gas slushes and moves around in ur tank to cause boost cut! Hope that helps

I thought every evo x owner knew once you go below half tank and go wot it cuts fuel ..that's why u need surge tank

Probably cuts boost and breaks up when you're low on gas because you're draining the bucket faster than it can fill and the g's will be pushed away from the sock. Can be remedied with a surge tank. Do a video on your fuel system and how its routed i'd be surprised if something this simple is overlooked by jrp
