    Also depends on what your horsepower goals are and what you are going to use the car for. If you are going to go to 500 whp plus i would also highly recommend cams, and springs and head work along with the big turbo. The other thing I would also highly recommend is build supporting mods such as the transfer case. Mod list for me is 1300 cc injectors, 340lph dw fuel pump, ets upper intercooler piping, ams fmic, ams down pipe, ets mid pipe, Tomei exhaust, built bottom end, kw v3 coilovers, Tial QRV bov

      Absolutely 👍 definitely depends on how you want to build your car and what’s it’s intention is. I did do like a general overview of recommendations for parts on a built block 16:00 . This was more of a generic overview tho. Your mod list is pretty stout aswell, definitely a great setup indeed :)

      Though you don't need to its easier to get there if you do and you deal with less lag and better driveability period. Thus I'd highly recommend it

      Your not actually full bolt on. You still need to upgrade downpipe, test pipe, an if you upgraded your turbo and fuel pump your should easily hit 400 on pump gas and 500 with e85

    fbo should absolutely include boost controller. Boost controller and tune alone can net almost 100whp. Most cost effective is a 3 port, injectors, and a pump to run e85 stock turbo. under 1k for 400whp

    Not sure if you were referring to whp or wtq, but you can easily push 500-600whp on the stock bottom end depending where the torque is applied. Smaller turbo running 500whp vs a larger turbo running 500whp will have very different stress on the rods as torque is applied sooner than later respectively with the two turbos. 400-450wtq is the safe number if its applied in the higher rpm range, where people have been pushing 600whp for several years.
    There's even a guy who is running stock clutch on 600+whp

    • @Riot_EvoX
      @Riot_EvoX  11 หลายเดือนก่อน

      Absolutely agree with you, there has been plenty of instances of people making crazy numbers on stock block like Devin N made 721whp with a PTE 6870. Yes torque is the main factor here and how quick it comes on, keep the rods happy :)

    • @Riot_EvoX
      @Riot_EvoX  11 หลายเดือนก่อน

      I was being more on the conservative side for the power, I know you can make 550 - 600 whp reliably for a quite some time, I just seen instances with people barely pushing over stock and blowing their motor too so happy medium conservative. Also huge factor in this is your tuner, having a good tune is key :)

    I would not recommend any evo owner connect an accessport to their vehicle. you can get an etune or dynotune, but your tuner should use a tactrix cable and the ecuflash prgram to reprogram the ecu. Tephra v3 mod is an add on that enables additional features like flex fuel and spark cut.

    • @Riot_EvoX
      @Riot_EvoX  11 หลายเดือนก่อน

      I feel the same about the accessports, I was more explaining all options for tuning solutions but yes Etune or Dyno is definitely the best option, I’ve seen hit or miss with access ports. Buddy ran one for a few years but didn’t make any power on it by any means. So yeah usually best to just spend the little extra and get it done right buy having a professional tuner like TunedbyWali or English Racing or SpeedLab get it done :)

    • @jeremysteinacker4889
      @jeremysteinacker4889 11 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      @@Riot_EvoX I’d go so far as to say any shop that recommends an accessport should be ran away from at all costs. It’s great for subies, but will 100% blow our engines.

    • @israelishome2002
      @israelishome2002 11 หลายเดือนก่อน +2

      I 1000% agree an access port is something you should def stay away from. I have a final edition that is open source tuned with e-85 and i love it.

    • @JPTinioMedia
      @JPTinioMedia 11 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      It won't blow the engine, they're just dog shit to tune with. There's a few local evos here running 550whp stock bottom end on cobb and a stock turbo running on 400whp with cobb. That being said I'd never put a cobb in my car even if it was prior to their shitty epa update. @@jeremysteinacker4889

    • @Riot_EvoX
      @Riot_EvoX  11 หลายเดือนก่อน

      Couldn’t agree more aswell, at the end of the day I don’t recommend the accessports or their OTS maps for evos but it still technically is another tuning solution, just not a good one and if your gonna spend 400-500 bucks on tuning definitely go the extra mile and spend a couple more to get open source tuned by a reputable shop or tuner

    I pushed 565whp and 460tq on stock block with cams. Full Bolt-on’s with a DOM 3.0. Must have surge tank once you get 500+ whp. Meth is your best friend 😉

    • @Riot_EvoX

    • @Riot_EvoX
      @Riot_EvoX  5 หลายเดือนก่อน

      565whp is solid for stock block, I feel like what kills them is tunes with aggressive torque curves by ramping in boost too fast since the stock rods aren’t super strong and then also cylinder temps can climb to high, some cases seen to much cylinder pressure and cracking the stock sleeves

      You absolutely can do that and still get gains out of it, however due to the restrictive factory air box, manifold, downpipe, and exhaust, the gains may not be worth the price for a tune by itself. However I know everyone has a budget and can only go so far so those who are on that side and are looking for deals then I’d go for at least an intake and downpipe and tune

      An MR is still a great option, yes they are usually a bit cheaper and don’t have extensive mods, great way to get into the platform. Only thing you want to be mindful of is you will hit a power wall a lot sooner than a GSR, the MR DCT has a limitation point around 400-450TQ before they start giving way. They have definitely seen better days but it rains 10 months of the year here in WA so having them keeps the sides of the car from getting caked with dirt

    I think it’s ridiculous you showing up doing a video, in my opinion that’s nonsense, I didn’t watch your video to the end, so disgusting and boring, bro it’s pointless you doing a video and not showing the things that you done, otherwise the car looks outstanding, I personally was interested in the rear trunk lid spoiler, and hoping that you discuss the make, brand and installation.

      Sorry you feel that way, still learning this TH-cam thing, as far as what’s done to my car, if you actually go back to my previous video explaining my Evo X you’ll see all the modifications I’ve done. I wanted to make a separate video on how someone can build their own Evo without having to copy mine (which there’s nothing wrong with that either) but explaining it and giving different part options in a separate video seemed like the best format to me. Hopefully you enjoy the coming videos :)
