I used to love messenger bags. The last one I used was from LA Police Gear too and used it for a few years. Now I’ve gone towards backpacks. Works for my needs. I used the older LA Police Gear commuter backpack for about two and half years and it’s great. I really want to try the new terrain backpack.

Had one of their bags several years ago and it definitely worked, but i did find it a bit large for my needs. I had the 12-hour bag that was modeled off the 5.11 Rush series, but it seemed closer in size to the 5.11 Rush 24 and I didn't need that much.
Their gear is excellent quality and value. Have owned multiple pairs of their Atlas pants for years and they continue to work. The Atlas shorts are also awesome! Highly recommend LAPG

Messenger bags prolly make for better urban go-bags in crowded environments than regular backpacks. So this could be good option for someone in a big city such as a NYC or London. Wonder how it compares to the Helikon-Tex Courier bag.
