    • @ten4267
      @ten4267 2 ปีที่แล้ว +6

      I agree that Garret shouldn’t have pressured her into giving him his money back as that is extremely scummy and dirty….
      But a call with J high in that spot and spewing different justifications (I thought I had 3’s, I thought you had A high, i blocked draws), then needling him after, and with the way RIP reacted this whole thing seems very very sketchy

    • @blingman78
      @blingman78 2 ปีที่แล้ว +8

      @@ten4267 Couple points to this:
      1. She said she was tiring of Garrett pushing her around in previous hands
      2. In poker sometimes you make a decision that isn't optimal due to your mindset and past hands against player you have played before
      3. She "needles" him because Garrett turns into a baby and asks how she can call with that hand. He should have just said "nice hand" because his bluff didn't work against a non high level thinking poker player (like his bluff against Andy's KK)
      4. RIP is her friend so he reacted like someone who ripped her off - which Garrett did
      TLDR; Garrett is a baby who askes for his money back when someone bluff catches him

    I think one of your leaks at the table is your mindset. Instead of thinking I'm here to gamble. Your mind SHOULD be thinking I'm here to play well and WIN. That little thing could be why you punt so much. You're a professional poker player. The goal is always to play well and win.

    • @anthonyrichardson7188
      @anthonyrichardson7188 2 ปีที่แล้ว

      He's a professional TH-camr and has other viable streams of income.. no professional poker player would play the way he plays at those stakes.. whatever he loses at the table, he gets back off his other revenue streams.. poker is not his profession, it's his hobby

  • @neilerskine438
    @neilerskine438 2 ปีที่แล้ว

    No. You should have just slowed downed. Everyone was teeing off on you. You have missed all the cues to "stop" and you just "PUNTED" away a stupid amount of money. Why would you call the $20K. you were already dead. WOW!!!

  • @EfficientRVer
    @EfficientRVer 2 ปีที่แล้ว

    You played much worse than you're capable of. WHY?
    There will always be some days where you should patiently fold, fold, fold.
    This was one of them, regardless of how much you were up or down from the previous 3 sessions. You splashed around too much with garbage, gave too much of a winning streak back.
    Putting in so much money with such bad hands, hurts you by reducing the amount of fold equity way below the amount that bets are generally entitled to. Once your bets get no respect, you need to bet for value more than you bet for fold equity. Being a calling station on top of that, is also flushing money down the toilet.
    But on the other side of the coin, there are 3 bits of good news out of this.
    1. The overall 80K win in 4 days despite this one, is a great result.
    2. In ways not shown in this video, you must have made some good/boring decisions, or you should have lost a lot more.
    3. Showing days like this, gets you paid off bigtime on days when you run well and play well. Due to how well-known your punting is, you eventually get a partial rebate of losses like this on other days, when people feel compelled to call you down.

  • @vicentelorenzosanchez6858
    @vicentelorenzosanchez6858 ปีที่แล้ว

    Wait…Rampage starts with just under $98k buys and 10 minutes into video he’s up to $125k stack. Not too shabby considering the field. Alt though he talks like he’s taking a beating the stack sizes on the video don’t support this early on.

  • @bobsamson6557
    @bobsamson6557 2 ปีที่แล้ว

    Feels like a year ago you were hurt by a 10k punt and got it back over a month. And barely any time before that you were playing 1/3 and saying “I don’t know” in every hand analysis. Now you have a -100k WSOP and you get most of it back in under a week at the biggest games in this country. I guess it will be interesting to see you as a regular at Triton this time next year

  • @kurtbarin8218

    Having the queen of diamonds in that QQ vs K6 hand is bad for you and you have to know that at this point.... It eliminates all Qx of diamonds flush draws like KQ AQ QJ and Q10, of diamonds and thats a huge portion of his bluffing range.....

    You can't last with such an attitude of punting cards for no reason. When Ryusuke bluffed at you, you folded and when he has a strong hand you bluffed, stupid punting. You are just giving back your winnings from the previous night.

    I mean I’m Ron’s defense he took awhile cuz it was for all his chips.. just cuz he riveted the trips doesn’t mean anything, you call home the donk
    You could’ve totally been the donk that turned the nut straight bud
    Don’t get salty he took his time to call your BLUFF
