It's a pretty amazing smoker/grill. It's just me and my gf and maybe a friend or two and its amazingly good and very easy. I love the bluetooth monitoring. My first time out was with pork chops and they tasted AMAZING!! It's a Great smoker...highly recommended.
My neighbor just gave me one brand new in the box. After watching this, I’m just gonna heat up avocado oil on my cast iron old fashion pan, throw a pre-marinaded steak on it, cook both sides. Done. I have Ninji AG300 love it for fries, mozzarella sticks etc. I’ll stick with this one. Don’t need anymore technologies bombarding my mind and life. Crazy.
I would like to know how clean up when I'm sick and tired of having to clean up so much after using gas / charcoal... and then I'm hesitant to buy a pallet Grill like the normal kind because I would assume to clean up would be just the same with all the grease everywhere but with this it looks like it's pretty much wiping go I'm just looking to see if that's what it is or not
Well, did it taste good or not? 😂 Did the pellets actually add flavor or enhance it in your opinion? I wonder how cedar planks and salmon would work on this bad boy.
After love at first cook with my Ninja Speedi, I’m gonna try and persuade my husband that we need this beast in the garden 🥰 I think I may have my work cut out though, as he seems to transform into pre historic man as far as BBQ is concerned!! 🔥 🔥🔥😂😂 I’m hoping that the smoker aspect of it may help my case though!! 🤞🤞Thanks for another great video Mr Dad 😀👍
Thank you very much for the review, I have a question please what is the fundamental difference in the taste of the meat between this model and the Ninja grill model Ninja IG601 Foodi XL?
I’m looking for a foldable stand. I have ordered the pro connect XL - most table top I see are only 20 inch depth if that- can you tell me the distance between the front and the back feet of this unit and the approximate width of a table and depth of a table that I would need? Thank you for your time.
When you added the asparagus to the steaks, did the asparagus continue to cook after you took the steaks off because I thought the grill shuts off when it says remove food
Is it possible for you to smoke some chicken breast? Also some burnt ends, and I know it’s odd but I seen it a bologna roll or chub is what they call it, either of these, I’m wondering how well the smoke flavor sets in!
Ninja does have one, even though he said he didn't get it. You can get the stand, a side table, and a cover in a combo, or just buy them all separate on their website when you eventually buy one...and you will eventually get one.
@@JustADad if you had to guess a percentage wise about what percentage would you think it came close to compared to a wood-fired smoker? I was also wondering will it fit a whole large chicken inside easily? it's hard to tell how big it is in the pictures they provide. Will half a brisket fit?
yes. Treat it as a conventional electric grill top. Could technically use the smoker indoors really if you have a vent hood. People use gas ovens in homes ya know?
This is the reason why i bought it, it looks like not much smoke is let off since it’s a small amount of pellets but i will hopefully remember to come back and let you know!
I just ordered one today. Was surprised it took 15 minutes as well. But then I thought about it and it takes a regular gas grill a good 10 minutes to be ready, so maybe not so bad
I have a ninja and will be getting this grill. That being said I only use probes on Thick Tri Tip, brisket, ribs or Ribeye, not a regular steak. 30 minutes is kind of long for anything outside of Ribs.
Can’t believe they’re charging $150 for the stand and 2 side tables! Also, pretty deceptive that they made the picture on the box to look like the body of the grill is metal, not plastic
My mom just told me she bought one of these for me as a present for Christmas. After watching this, I am excited!
You will love it. Merry Christmas
How funny, my mom did the same thing yesterday for my Christmas present. I cooked some chops....amazing...LOVE IT!!
Is your mom single ? 😂

I just bought one tonight. I Enjoyed your enthusiasm and you shared your true opinion. Thank you
Just bought one of these during Amazon Prime Day, looking forward to putting it to use.
For how much did you get it? I can get it for 300€, should i ?

Burning mine in at the moment. You mentioned putting the grate in the dishwasher.. Ninja instructions specifically say DON'T put in in the DW
I'll check the instructions again, thanks for letting me know!
Nice video, of grill. I see it basic behavior like oven with grindle with lid, or air fryer.
Merci for this demo and bon appétit !!
Well, did it taste good or not? 😂 Did the pellets actually add flavor or enhance it in your opinion? I wonder how cedar planks and salmon would work on this bad boy.
Hi! So, I’ve seen a few of your reviews and I enjoy your videos. 🎉
How do you clean the inside of the lid?
I just turned it on and set the rest off the app. I didn't mess the buttons like he did. (First time use)

You got this!
Nice video but I use the old one it's simple and no need for all the apps and complexity.
Thank you very much for the review, I have a question please what is the fundamental difference in the taste of the meat between this model and the Ninja grill model Ninja IG601 Foodi XL?
none really just bigger and more advanced with temp probes
Hello, can you tell me how wide it is at the bottom of the feet, excluding the two side tables? Thanks

Are there any other options pre-installed besides beef?
Is this the official stand from Ninja that you are using for the grill? i just purchased mine because of your review, thank you!
Yes it is, with 2 of the optional shelves attached. Pretty pricey stand, but very solid and well made (I have the same).
You should add the wood pellets later. Would love to see you smile ribs
I was going to thumb up but you said medium well and I simply cannot sanction that buffonery.
Same 😆
When you added the asparagus to the steaks, did the asparagus continue to cook after you took the steaks off because I thought the grill shuts off when it says remove food
it shuts off but the remaining heat cooked them
what is the black residue left on grill looks like burnt plastic

2:29 you can’t just use it with Bluetooth only?
Where did you get the table? Could you send a link please?
Ninja does have one, even though he said he didn't get it. You can get the stand, a side table, and a cover in a combo, or just buy them all separate on their website when you eventually buy one...and you will eventually get one.
Does it produce much smoke flavor?
not as much as. a true smoker
@@JustADad if you had to guess a percentage wise about what percentage would you think it came close to compared to a wood-fired smoker?

it's hard to tell how big it is in the pictures they provide.

@@naturestrail2296 about 40 percent
Can I use this indoors? Not allowed to have a traditional bbq in my unit
They have indoor and outdoor option.
Good stuff! Where did you get the stand?
ninja website
Can you use this in the house if you're not doing the pellets?
yes. Treat it as a conventional electric grill top. Could technically use the smoker indoors really if you have a vent hood. People use gas ovens in homes ya know?
Hi where can I buy that stand? Do you have a product number so I could order one please?
Where did you get the stand?
Ninja web site
Also available on Amazon.
3/4" Medium Well steaks eh?
Does it produce a lot of smoke when smoking something? I live in a condo and have a small patio
This is the reason why i bought it, it looks like not much smoke is let off since it’s a small amount of pellets but i will hopefully remember to come back and let you know!
@@tonymoreauso, what do you think of it?
Mine coming in today…..but I didn’t know it took 15 mins to preheat…..
I just ordered one today. Was surprised it took 15 minutes as well. But then I thought about it and it takes a regular gas grill a good 10 minutes to be ready, so maybe not so bad
Is it okay to use foil instead of cooking food directly on the pan?
Don’t use foil. Best to cook without foil.
Seasoning?
Try amokinh prime rib beef brisket & beef ribs please (?)
Amazing
Thank you! Cheers!
Can it be used indoors?
no
Even when disabling the smoke function?
@wash_out, you can't use it indoors at all due to the small ventilation grid behind. Let all the cooking smell and smoke go out!
PELLETS ARE SPECIAL OR STANDARD?
special only from ninja
I want to try weed instead of wood chips or cbd flower
How much smoke does it put out? I live in an apartment building, and was worried if it smokes a lot it would disturb the neighbours.
Medium well? Oh man, you overcooked that delicious New York Strip. LOL. Just kidding! As long as you like it, that's all that matters.
30 minutes for a thin steak? That steak shouldn't have taken but about 16 minutes tops. What's the temperature of the surface?
Thinking the same thing. I do steaks in my ninja foodi and never gone past 10 minutes.
Probably low temp because he also used the smoke feature. I’m sure this adds on time.
you can on grill with the lid open right? Or no?
yes in grill mode you can leave the lid open and the bottom grill will still work.
Take sticker off top
I want to see you smoke a whole chicken
30 minutes is a long ass time for 2 steaks
Please cook tenderloin
Looks like a PITA to use. Can't just set a temp and go?

“Okay, so” count: 15
🤣
You used a probe for steak lol
Help me order one through the mail
I found the know broke when unboxing
Grill some pork ribs
You lost me at Med Well. Wth man?
1760 watts 😢😢😢
Thats not well done....its congratulations!
All this electrical stuff is convenient but what's going to happen if power goes down. Will you all remember how to put meat to flame
Use a generator
Yeah I thought about that after I bought this . Lmao
@@lilcourtny08 yeah I'm going to buy a $$$ generator just for this
Solsr pannels and power bsnk
I have a gas range. 😂 So even if I am with an EMP, I will be cooking dinner.
med well... fail
This is nonsense, it does not need to take that long to cook steaks.
Medium rare is the most done a steak should be. Wtf
According to you
