At this price i bought Legendary Duke 200 BS4 (Last of its kind ) in 2018. Trust me in 2023 i feel it's underpowered now . Not that it's lost its potential, i am now capable of handling more power . But 125 feels really underpowered for a hardcore rider in 2023. If u just want the looks and milage go for it

This is a export heavy product and not at all made for price sensitive markets like india...here is a review nonetheless-
1. use 37mm USD instead of 43mm
2. use 100 front and 130 rear tyre, instead of 110 and 150.
3. use 280/220mm discs instead of 320/230mm.
4. use 5 speed gearbox instead of 6. (top end might suffer but healthier power distribution across gearing)
5. remove switchable ABS(is there traction control too?)
6. probably single channel ABS variant, considering the power figures
all of this will help to
1. shed weight (7 to 9kg)
2. reduce unsprung weight from fatter tyres and discs
3. increase performance
4. increase mileage
5. shed price.( shouldnt cost a rupee more than 1.5lac considering there are literally a dozen options available in the market.)
But still no, this is ruining KTM image in India

The non price sensitive markets like US they consider even 300cc bikes as small
No one in their right minds would buy a 125cc "performance" bike in the other markets
They usually just consider rc390 as a fairly cheap starter bike, yes starter bike bcuz its not a big engine according to em

KTM Company Should lunch it into in 150cc or 160cc in this price then this is going to be a awesome deal.

dude I know i give you hard time with ur choice of thumbnails, i just wanna say i m messing with you no hard feeling.. also on the other hand you are one of the few auto reviewers I watch consistently who actually give opinion about the bike if its good or not as oppose to many other YTbrs who just reads out the spec sheet and make sure they are in the good books of their manufactures or the showroom. Just one small advice I think its time to upgrade to an interchangeable lens..👍
