    I just installed the Zeta Pro hand guards on my 300L with the Zeta Triple Clamp mounts...fit beautifully and those clamps are rock solid. I also recommend the Zeta bar end option...really cleans up the edge and adds considerably more protection.

    I started out with the exact same set up, and as for as quality goes, I couldn’t ask for anything better. However, I just recently acquired a set of triple tree mounts. Which is what I would had preferred from the start, but at the time I bought the hand guards, the triple tree mounts for 300l/Rally were sold out everywhere. Triple tree mounts definitely provide more solid of a mounting position, additionally, you get a little bit more flexibility to position your controls however you’d like.
    Personally, I would like to add the additional lighting with the lights that Zeta offers for the hand guards, and retain my stock turning/running lights rather than using them to replace the stock ones. I just have to figure out the best way to wire that all together. I just think the more lights I have, the better I’ll be seen.

      It would be no problem wiring them, just two wires to connect to your existing signals

      @@WOODZMANI also meant to ask you, if wiring the Zeta hand guard lights to the wires that power my stock blinkers will still work fine even though the Zeta lights are LED’s, but the stock Honda blinkers are not LED’s?

    • @WOODZMAN
      @WOODZMAN  9 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      @airadaimagery692 oh yea as long as you are leaving the stock blinker, otherwise you would need a different flasher

      @@WOODZMAN Yeah I’m leaving the stock blinkers. Ok, appreciate it.
      Now I just need to figure out the best spot to splice into the wires. I guess it really doesn’t matter where.
      I also want to add additional 1.5” spot lights. I’ll probably mount them to the same spot that the front reflectors are mounted, on the forks. But I haven’t figured out how I should power those... I already used my auxiliary plug for 2 outlets. I have a usb, and a cigarette type plug hooked to the auxiliary wire, but I guess I could tap into that for the spot lights too... As long as I’m not running the spot lights and or something like an air compressor at the same time, I guess I’ll be fine...
      I bought one of those aluminum dual plug mounting brackets that allows you to mount a usb plug on one side of your instrument panel, and a cigarette type plug on the other side. I had to take the dash apart to mount it, because it mounts behind the instrument panel, but it’s a nice clean sturdy set up.

    could definitely get a custom front brake line to make that loop lower and sleeker.

    Hi Frank, long time since we have touched base. I always enjoy your product videos! So I tapped the stock handlebar ends on my CRF300L to match the bolt that came with the Acerbis handguards and that worked really well. I think the Acerbis bolt was 8 mm (it’s been awhile). Did you notice if the Acerbis bolt and the Zeta end bolts were the same thread size/pitch? I like the Zeta handguards you have much better and don’t seem to crowd the clutch lever perch or front brake master cylinder. I have always thought the curved guards by the handle bar ends look safer to me, like a riders hand could come out a split second faster perhaps during a crash. Thanks Don

      Hi Don
      Yes the bolt is the same size, doing what you did is the best way.

    So I wanted to put these on my stock 300L. I cut the rubber of the bar end and it’s not hollow. Just a small threaded hole and the bolt is too big.

    • @WOODZMAN
      @WOODZMAN  3 หลายเดือนก่อน

      Actually the best way to do it, if you have stock bars and drill that hole to the correct size and tap the threads.
      Some people will just get a smaller bolt that fits
