the problem with "Eisenhower's warning" is that he was the first President to begin the grand tradition of ballooning the US' nuclear arsenal. During his tenure the US went from around 150 nuclear weapons to almost 1500. And he was no pacifist, he continued the US' imperialism and hegemony. If he was so concerned about the MIC I wish he'd shown it through action instead of some words in a speech, which most people have never heard
