The EASIEST Buttercream Marbling Technique I Have Found|No Acetate Sheets|Cake Decorating Tutorial

- In this Cake decorating tutorial I show you how I made this cake using the easiest Marbling technique I have ever found! The only tool you will need is a metal scraper. No acetate sheets or fondant at all. No kidding! of course you will need the normal tools to assemble the cake and apply the buttercream, but to get to the marble, a scraper is it;) I would consider this an intermediate level design. The topper is also fairly simple if you have the silicon mats. If you don't, they can be found on Amazon and in some hobby or cake supply stores. Such beautiful work !! & Yes! I also watch Lillianas channel too !! Im glad you wrote that in the description box b/c it would have drove me nuts not knowing who you were talking about. Especially when you said you both have similar taste in decorating cakes... Im a home baker, cakes, cookies, bars & especially macarons. So I love channels for baking in general :)
Oh and the way you love gold , thats how I feel about silver.. I agree with you.. It would have also looked great on your cake design !!
Oh I love macarons too, when they work;) Iowa weather does not like them unfortunately:( I do kind of wish I had opted for silver on this one, but too late now!;)

Hi Mery help please ,,,I was trying to make isomalt bowls no idea why mine is always breaking,,,,I am so sad😢I put 1 cup isomalt and 1 /4 water trying 3x and was not right
Wow this is freaking insanely beautiful!!! Can I ask how your buttercream isn’t coming off in little chunks seeing as it’s been in the freezer for a bit? As soon as I try and smooth my chilled cakes it comes off in little bits constantly.
I love to dip my scraper in warm water amd that seems to help.

Hi Mary! Would love to know if you don’t get any condensation on your cake after putting it in the freezer? Freezing my cakes usually ruin my icing here, whew..
No I do! But that is usually if I leave them in too long. I prefer a residential fridge and freezer to commercial. They seem to not have as much humidity.

Love your videos and techniques. Question: why do you add corn start to your isomalt? Also where do you get your silicone mats? They are nice and flexible.

I LOVE it. Especially how you painted the edges and it really made it pop! I would never think to dust the natural fruit. So cute. And you have me curious who this other you tuber is....I am trying to guess!

Hi I love your cakes. I tried making this one the marble effect with pink shade .. came out well but I freezed it for 20 minutes or so .. cak e condensation happened n cake n the icing was falling apart .. i wish i could upload a photo of the cake .. 😔😥

Mary, Doesn't that extra simple syrup make your cake extra sweet? Do you always use simple syrup? Doesn't it only soak in to the top part of the cake? I want to try but am resisting the thought. Thanks.

Hi! It's fine;) you can tape them together with clear packing tape if you have some.
Is buttercream suiza, swiss or americana?
American, but swiss or Italian would work too.
