I want our sisters to break free from emotional, financial, friendship, mental, and sexual bondage.
Fumi I'm 60, and have been living a very soft life, all by myself since I left my cheating husband. It is the best way to live and still learning more about adding ways or deleting things that makes my life far more peaceful. Okay Fumi, I’m old enough to be your mother and I’ve only been watching a couple of weeks. I didn’t have my mom in my life until I was grown and my female family members taught me nothing about personal hygiene or life as a young woman should know. I applaud you for what you are doing for the young ladies (and the older) in giving wisdom. I have learned so much from you at my age and it’s a shame that I wasn’t taught earlier but maybe they didn’t know or refused to share. I have been living the Soft Life since 2013 with my husband. He is a Gem and I am blesses to have such a caring partner. We appreciate and respect each other in everything we do, I have never been so happy 🥰

Unhealthy finances almost killed our marriage. 5 years in we’re getting our bearings, being honest and kind, and he’s the best provider and I care for the home. He works full time in IT and I work part time in real estate. We pay 30% of our monthly income towards the house and groceries and the rest goes to our smaller personal bills (credit cards, gas, etc) and the rest is savings and fun money. We’re so at peace 🙏🏽
Ms. Fumi, your husband has his own way of saying hi to us. He is always leaving the room once you start talking. Ula spends small time with you, but respects your work and gives you space to do it. Giving a Like for that soft life relationship.

I love the way you explain and put what soft life is. These days people define/make soft life as "always going out to spend excessively/being irresponsible". I love your explaination, its so mature and teaching to be responsible 360 of life. I am turning 24yr old next month, and i am glad i am learning from matured(mentally) people like u. I am alone, no parents but God has been helping me build my first house(to completed end of this yr) and am completing my master degree in Biomedical Engineer at the end of this year. The saving point is so true Aunt Fumi, knowing i have some coins(over $40k) in my bank makes me happier and feel secured from unforseen incidents/spending. Just encouraging all the young ones out there, you can live a soft life without finishing your life away. Always live within ur reach/level.

20:17 I’m 38, married 13 years with two kids. I grew up watching my mom live a difficult, bumpy life with my father - always hiding purchases and spending excessively as a means for coping with other things. My parents do not speak to each other kindly, mainly because they were never shown how to communicate in healthy ways. My husband and I began living the bumpy life, and I did an about-face. I didn’t want what my parents have, I wanted something better. And you know what? I have it. It took a lot of work and us both being willing to change and grow together, but I’m so happy with how far we’ve come and what we’ve built. No secrets, no going behind the other’s back, no creating deception where there doesn’t need to be.
Every woman should watch this once a week. It’s such a beautiful concept. Living the soft life. I’m blessed to truly understand, embrace, and live all of your points but it’s nice to have a reminder that all is well. Bless you and your gift of wisdom.

I needed to hear this so much. I watched hours ago, but was too full to respond. I’d been having breakdowns for days now, culminating in making an unfortunate scene at a dinner party last night. Sigh. I hate the career I’d been doing for 22 years now (it’s too scary and not aligned with who I am, and I’d just jammed myself into it for decades, hating myself all the while for doing so), and the burnout is too much to take. I quit my job mid April, and took another too soon, hence the breakdowns. With my husband’s approval, I just quit this one, and am resting now, and will take care of myself. I have a psychologist appointment set up for tomorrow. It’s going to take time, but I will try to pay attention to living a soft life, because the alternative is literally killing me.

I absolutely love how you are expressing the soft life. I think a lot of people have the soft life wrong. They think it simply means being a kept woman who dresses pretty and lives a fully suppressed life.
I working on learning how to be more soft with my partner and I absolutely look up to how you carry yourself. So far it’s been amazing. Taking that extra moment everyday to take care of myself so that I’m taking care of my husband and home properly has been the best thing I’ve ever done.

Fumi it's like you made this episode with me in mind. For me the definition of a soft life is working. Work for me is a stress relief. But I also get the whole thing of not stressing on the things that I can't control. This episode is what I needed. From now on I will live the soft life.
At 25:51, I started to think, I can relate to this. My husband and I've got problems; and urgent as well as outstanding matters to deal with. Yet we keep finances transparent and live as stress free as we're able to - #simpleplusblessed = #softlife
Aunty Fumi, the point of friendship, whew! I have (I can’t bring myself to say “had” yet) these friends who have been fantastic to me… until I recently realized that EVERY time we see, they manage to speak negativity to me in the guise of gist.
You know how you’re laying in bed and reviewing your day before you sleep off. And I just thought, “this is not a coincidence, it’s happening all the time”.

Eyebrows lined and arched and a simple lip gloss check and clothes that fit and flatter you no matter the size double check! Presentation is everything! And yes money in the bank is very SEXY! You said a WORD or two or three in this vlog. Really insightful. In a corporate job, you can get fired unfairly for not compromising your ethics. Even the best worker in the company. They will take away your livelihood, the ability to to pay bills or feed your family, without batting an eye. Multiple income streams is a necessity. YSL did you a favor.
