I've just discovered your channel, where have I been!! After hours of searching for a pattern for my great niece's baby blanket I found you! Thank you for sharing this beautiful pattern the blanket is now on the go and is looking great xx
Loving this pattern. I have some light weight 3 yarn coming and was looking to make a snuggly scarf for winter. This will work beautifully. Your teaching is superb. I like your speed and that you make mistakes but don't hide them. Keeps me pattern smart whilst watching. Well done. Keep on bringing your talents to share.
Thank you so much ❤. Yes I knew there may some bloopers in my tutorials but I’m hoping viewers are able to follow. Not only that the time it takes to edit or re do is way too long for me. I’d rather be creative!
Love the pattern , I'm new at this but I find you way to fast for me to follow , I'm 74 yo and my sore hands don't work as well as they used to , thank you . Cheers .
I’m another ‘new to this site’. This is a beautiful pattern…thank you… also I learnt something extra today..ie I can actually slow the play back down…such a handy thing to know😂
I pause the videos any where i need to. I’m only 48 but I’ve only steadily been crocheting daily since 2019. For different reasons i can’t keep up with the seasoned crochet. With ailments like arthritis and carpal tunnel i may always be grateful for pause feature❤
I've just found you and after enjoying watching this I made the mistake of searching for your playlist. Do you ever sleep?, I can't believe how much content you have. I've subscribed so that I can make practice swatches because there are so many that I like the look of. Decisions, decisions.
Excuse me butting in - Changing the SPEED is easy:- choose the settings wheel in a corner of the screen then the speed playback option, & the slower speeds above “Normal”😊. When you leave that video or channel you may have to go back to the “Normal” speed! I hope that helps J C ❤️
Would this work as a lap throw? If so, what size hooks do I need to use and how many stitches per row. I am 80 yrs old but think I can make this (as a throw for an adult). Thank you for your wonderful and detailed instructions.
Hi! Thank you so much. The chain needs to be in multiples of 3. Approx 35 inches by 40 inches is the right size for and adult lap throw. So chain as many as you need to get to 35 inches in width and work up the length to 40 inches. But must be in 3’s. I would use a 5mm hook with DK yarn (U.K.) lightweight no 3 (usa). Hope that helps
Lovely stitch, ty, Nora. I only have you on You Tube & would ❤️ to know, pls. Do you have a written pattern for the size & amount of DK yarn needed for a BABY Blanket? Or even a reply here would be a great help. I have tried looking on your channel but there are “only”(!) your many lovely stitches?😊. This stitch would do v nicely for a wee boy! Best wishes x jc (in Australia)
Thank you 🙏. I’m not sure actually. Where I know the name I say. Sometimes I do stitch patterns from memory and don’t have a name 🙈. Maybe some lovely viewer may know?
Oh WOW, this is GORGEOUS & am just about to start a baby blanket using this stitch pattern !!! Just a quick & probably silly question, but how do you end the project so that the top is straight ? TIA
Hi! ❤. Erm try a single crochet row and where there is the dip of the curve place a half double crochet to bring up the height. I haven’t tried this yet but you can put any stitches to try and get a straight line. Even a double crochet if you think it’s fits best. X
@@CrochetByNora MANY THANKS for ya feedback 👍 Figured it out & thought to share what worked for me ... At the end of the last pattern row, turn & ch 3 (or do a standing dc), 2sc in the 3 ch space, 1 dc in the sc & repeat, ending with a hdc in the 2nd chain of the previous row turning chain. Hope this makes sense ...
Thank you Nora, very pretty and easy pattern for me 😊thank you for sharing
You’re welcome ☺️
I've got some coworkers who are having twin. I think I'm gonna use this as a baby blanket pattern!
Oh Brilliant!. I'm sure they will turn out just perfect. Its a lovely simplistic and easy pattern... have fun. Any probs let me know. x

Thank you so much! I would say around 400 DK yarn. But you’re probably getting a 5pack just in case for a border ❤️
@@CrochetByNora Thank you!😊j c
I am nearly blind and 82 trying to follow you is hard it's too fast. How many stitches for a baby Blanket Please.
@fayeanderson5893 Hi there! I would say 120
Chains would be the right size
Would you share the name of the stitch? Very pretty :-)
Thank you 🙏. I’m not sure actually. Where I know the name I say. Sometimes I do stitch patterns from memory and don’t have a name 🙈. Maybe some lovely viewer may know?
Would you finish with a SC row?
Hi! Yes you can. When you finish the length just make sure the sc row is facing the same way as the original sc row. X
Thank you ❤

What if you only have a 4.50 mm hook andno 4 mm hood
Yes try a small sample and see how it feels ❤
So this is a very pretty stitch... but if you'd slow down a tad would be helpful... we know you crochet awesomely.. but slow down just a tad.
@@dawnspriggs2553 Hi thanks for that. You can slow me down in playback options in the settings if that helps with this tutorial?
To fast for me. Please slow down.
Hi you can slow the speed under the setting menu. Every video can be slowed down under playback options if that helps
