Very beautiful and looks easy I will probably make a blanket for a baby as I have a friend who is expecting and the shower will be soon Thank you for your tutorials ❤❤❤
The color of that yard is great…….. tell us more please. The texture looks really nice. Hope to use it soon. Need to finish the projects I have in the works. Thanks for sharing ❤
I love following your demonstrations, for many reasons. I love the speed at which you progress with the work, your patterns and your explanations. However, one of the main reasons is the way how hold the hook. I learned to crochet at a young age when I lived in South Africa. Now I live in the United Staes and the first time I saw somebody crochet, holding the hook like a kitchen knife, I just couldn't wrap my mind around that one! It looked so clumsy! I now follow some of these patterns and try and overlook the way the hook is manhandled but I know I will not get used to it. I much prefer Nora's method!
Thank you so much for your lovely comment. I’m glad you have come back to crochet and I have been able to help in some way. Honestly makes my day with your lovely feedback. God bless x
This is a lovely pattern. I have a variegated yarn that I am going to give this pattern a try with. I’m having trouble finding a pattern I want to use.
Thank you! 😊 it’s hard for me slow down. I do get requests from beginners sometimes so I try to stay in middle pace but I end up faster 😊. Thanks for your support as always
I love this pattern, very nice. I love trying your all patterns. And to me just the right speed of teaching the stitches. I can always go back if i miss something. Thanks for sharing 😊
Thank you for sharing this pattern. I’m new to crochet and I was wondering how you would add a border? Could you do a tutorial where you add the border? Thank You ❤
Hi Nora I just subscribed what a great stitch love it so neat too as you said.i like that you show your work close up.i am an older crocheter 74 years young but still love new patterns as I crochet for charity.thanks so much and I look forward to following you.💖💖
I love love love it, beautiful pattern. Well done. Only out of Hospital today and this will be my next item on the list for staff in Nursing Home that are expecting ❤🎉
Have just discovered your channel. Can you tell me when crocheting across the rows, do you put your book through all of the two loops on the top of the previous row. You got through the stitches and it's hard to see. Thanks.
🙂@@yvonnejones3503 Hi there! Thanks for visiting. Yes it is always through both loops unless I say back or front loop. Any further probs please do let me know. Thanks Nora x
This is an amazing pattern. I'm new to your channel and already love it. This stitch I am doing now for a scarf with an ombre yarn. So excited to see the finished project. ❤😊❤😊
@@PamsCraftyheart Thank you so much! I’m sure it will turn out perfect 👌. Thank you for your support. Please do have a look at my other patterns. I have quite a few and the collection will grow 🤗
I really like these simpler, tighter patterns for blankets over the big, holey, lacey ones. I mean, they're very pretty to look at, but I need a blanket to be practical, too. Wish I had've seen this one before I started on a moss stitch blanket. I've just started my 3rd ball, so there's no going back now, though I'll definitely keep this one in mind for the next blanket. Curious though...From what I saw there, you're using US terminology. What terminology or gauge do you use in the UK for yarn. We go by the ply here in Australia to gauge yarn thickness, and to be honest, I much prefer the US system of numbering it. Anyway, thanks for sharing the stitch sample...it'd be great in a shawl too I think. Have great day 😊
Hi there! Thank you for your lovely comments. Yes I use US terminology and it’s always been the case even though I live in the U.K. However the yarns for US I had to pick up. So DK yarn is the one I mainly do my tutorials for. Which is equivalent to US lightweight no 3. If I use chunky it is equivalent to bulky not super bulky for the US. Hope that helps. But if ever unsure please do message me. And yes I agree 100 percent. I also love simpler tighter patterns for blankets. Best wishes from England. Nora x
Hi! It’s half double crochet throughout the pattern as mentioned and shown. Towards the end I highlighted it’s a single crochet row a double. What I meant was double of the half double crochet. It is clearly showing I am doing a half double crochet in the video so not sure what the confusion is.
Thank you Nora, so pretty and easy as I explained I’m making 13 blankets for my family and each one them is different using all your patterns. I ❤ Can I ask you .Can you please show us a sunflower tutorial granny square or something with sunflowers I know you have that sunflower by itself but I not sure how to connect them together. One of my girls love sunflowers this is way I’m asking.
Thank you very much, we are old folks, and some new at learning how to crochet, please slow down, slow down, and too much info ,in between rows , I’m going to make is I’m 81
Fabulous never to old to learn. I will try my best to slow down. But you can slow me down further in the playback options at the bottom. But will make an effort for further videos. Thanks

Hi !. The colour is Lavender by Woolcraft New Fashion. But I think is now discontinued. So a pale lavender I would say. x

🎉 1:55 stitch is beautiful so im going to make a scarf with this stitch
@@trudywalsh-l1o nice choice 👌 😊
Are you going in the back stitch of a single stitch. Because I don't have a breaking between rows
@@vanessamaus6693 all stitches are in both loops. 👍

Okay, I'm confused. It's it half double or double. Read your script about stitches.

OK. Can I use any kind of weight yarn yo make this. I like the double stitch instead of half double thank you 😊
@@vanessamaus6693yes ofcourse. You can change the pattern and use any yarn. I suggest making a small sample see how it looks and feels 😊
