India Truck companies need to implement 2 rear axles driven config in trucks like USA and Europe. very much suitable for Indian ghat roads. Ashok Leyland has one of its 2820 models as 6X4. Indian truck owners should understand the advantage of it.
If they release the Air, wouldn't they face issues later? Also trucks needs a Minimum Air Pressure otherwise it will increase the load and Effect the Engine and Fuel Economy Badly, not to mention it would be deemed Unsafe and illegal to drive such Vehicle

What the Ashok Leyland 8 wheeler needs is a 11,5 or 12 litre engine, like the Cummins M11 with a light pressure turbo mated to a Fuller RTO 11613 13 speed box with a selectable overdrive top gear driving a short geared Rockwell SQ series rear bogie. Nice thought but in India one has to use what engines, gearboxes and drive axles are available on a tight budget.
