Many of these trucks have drive only on one Axle and that's the problem. Heavy trucks should have drive on two rear axles. Only then can they climb these ghats with a full load
The entire transistion systems of these Indian trucks with their pathetic single driving axle are crap. At least the truck should have a difflock and the tag axle should be liftable to put more weight on the driving axle. It‘s life endangering to drive with such a faulty design through such dangerous roads.
The trucking companies are least bothered to update their fleet because of the out of date greedy irresponsible 50-60 aged sacks running the business. Tata & Mahindra keep bringing new trucks only to end up not preferred just cause these obsolete things are cheaper to run, despite the risks involved for drivers.

And since it's being reversing on an inclination the major load acts on the front wheels, which is not powered. So the back wheel having less weight acting on it slips due to inadequate friction.
