I maintained my inner peace because I realized I can't control the judge who by the way was not impartial as he should have been, or the Defendant; I could only control my reactions and I simply presented my evidence. I couldn't control what my expert witness testified to. 2. I refused to allow my imagination to create obstacles:; for we worry more in the imagination than in reality. 3. I refused to take offense towards anything negative coming out of the Defendant's mouth: during the whole process I remained Stoic. I was calm, cool and collected, all a tribute to Stoic narratives and if you can't see how Stoicism can help in every aspect of life, I don't know what to tell you. God bless 🙏

As a woman who worked in a female dominated field, stating that I don’t engage in conversations which diminish someone’s character, swiftly elevated me to a position of leading by example. Either the gossip subsided or it was hidden from me. My hours at work became more pleasant and productive.
I'm someone who use to gossip, I simply stopped because I love people and I found that it didn't bring any positive feelings to my heart and mind. Gossiping is not the way to go. Gossiping only keeps you down. It makes you no better than the person you are gossiping about or any better than anyone. Today when I am in the presence of someone gossiping I will point out the good in the person being gossipped about and turn it into a good vibe.
He had the best thing and he abused it. Am stoic towards narcissist. Single mom raising 2 kids alone without and village or family and I grew through my independence and doing it alone. It's hard and worth it and paid off 😊. Proud of myself

I have been a stoic my whole life. My father called me a stoic when I was ten years old. I didn't know what he meant until your videos. Thank you ! He said I was like the ancient Greek Stoics. I said who are they ? He said they were a really strong people. Being 10 years old, I thought he meant physical strength. Now I know he also meant psychological strength. I think of emotions as SIGN POSTS pointing my way to deep understanding.

The essence of stoicism is a consistent commitment to evolve into the best version of oneself regularly. Growth is a moving target and a lifetime pursuit. Not a fixed set point or destination. Challenges are lessons to learn from and growth pains are signs of soul growth -- the context to have a lifetime of dialog with oneself to grow, because it is the work of a lifetime. I see a lot of women here proclaiming that they are stoic one thing the comments and the video did not mention is the difficulty in being a rare stoic woman. Everything he said in the video sounds great but in reality it also means you don't have a lot of friends, you are often times misunderstood and misjudged, and your inner strength yields difficulty in romantic relationships because our self-assuredness and devotion to logic over emotion often brings out men's sensitivity insecurities and emotionality. Other types of masculine personalities often time get very controlling, intimidated, or competitive by our independence , confidence and of course , our " silent power" "❤

When I was born.
My mother said , " Take this thing because I don't want it. So I picked up my sword and shield and have made my way through life. Standing strong and worthy to walk through this earth, breathing and receiving the same sun as all the (perfect) ones.

I come from a family of Stoic Women.. my grandmother was stoic who always chose silence, quiet, peace and calm in face of hardships. My mother a force of beauty and love. I learn about myself everyday from them also from everyone around me including my dog 🐕 😂

🙏❤️ I am a indeed A Stoic Woman but I am learning everyday 🙏I’ve Learned to Live this process of life since childhood (it’s been built into my core mind, body , heart ♥️ and soul) due to the fact that we’ve had to face with struggles in life
Every natural calamities that comes in the island 🏝&
And have applied my inner strength when I became a Single Mother / parent & brought up my children on my own
Our parents , specially our Dearest Mother is Indeed have had lived the Stoic life when she was alive . She raised 11 children with her strong belief, values , faced the hardest challenges in life , stayed strong in her principles but have the biggest heart ♥️ to help people in need and serve the community .
I am stoic. I have been my whole life, even when I am beaten and feel broken I am still the one to give peace, guidance and hold other’s hand through their weak moments. I have nothing figured out as that’s a waste, and whether I have a lot or nothing at all, I AM GOOD. When I speak about what I have lived and the way I see it all, people have a hard time with it, but I just know that one day I’ll understand and my questions and doubts will lay in peace.

I have been on a journey to better understand myself for over 20 years. Just a few months ago I “discovered” stoicism and so much of it has resonated with me, especially the principles of the Sigma Woman, as I learned i’ve practiced many of the principles innately most of my life.
Thank you for providing education on Stoicism for all genders so that we can learn and grow, and ultimately improve our world.
