One of the games I played probably ten times by now to the point I no longer enjoy it 😂 but it's honestly still a great game regardless. There's good stage variety and not every stage is as linear as the others. Some require you to solve mysteries and and find clues whereas others are just more dungeon-style with a lot of combat and doors to unlock. I managed to get the quality as sharp as I could in this re-recording but I also managed to fix the mismatched color ranges which washed out the colours a bit on the previous upload. The video looks real good now. It's a little lengthier than the previous video because I didn't spam the roll button here. Rolling in this game makes you go A LOT faster, not just a little faster like in Ocarina of Time. Nonetheless, I think it's annoying when abused in a longplay. Anyway, since this always get asked.. you DON'T need the GBA to play this game. Yes I know it shows those GBA popups, but that's what shows on your television. I believe that GBA pop-up gets moved over to the GBA if you were to actually link it up to the console. You can also play this cgame with 1-4 players, so everyone gets to control their own Link.
Somehow i knew these were on your re-do list. Glad to see a Zelda longplay again, though. It's been a while since i last saw a new one of those. I'm still waiting for Phantom Hourglass, Spirit Tracks, Link Between Worlds, Tri-Force Heroes, Wind Waker HD, Twilight Princess HD, Skyward Sword HD, Link's Awakening (both original Game Boy *and* Switch versions), Breath of the Wild, Tears of the Kingdom and Echoes of Wisdom to hit the channel. And that's without even getting into the spin-offs, like Hyrule Warriors. Just so i know, are there any other Zelda longplays that need re-uploading? I know about Skyward Sword (stutters and desynced audio), Link to the Past and Majora's Mask 3D (both only 720p), but i'm not sure about the others.
This is a pretty fun game, but I understand why it didn't do well. You need at least one Game Boy Advance in order to play it properly. I should clarify that you can play it by yourself, but the main point of this game is the multiplayer, and four player shenanigans aren't why people play Zelda games to begin with.
It was a cute and honestly kind of clever idea for a video game especially in 2004 but yeah it IS a bit much for a Zelda game especially since it SORT OF hammers into your head “Hey! You’d have more fun playing this on your GBA and with three of your friends”
Ah such a fun game. You could get into so many hijinks when playing with friends. Need more games like this. Also I bought 4 Gameboy advanced sps and still have a GameCube and a Wii and the right cords so I can play it still if I wanted to.
@ oh thankfully no, just some idiots that try to copyright Nintendo’s IP as their own.. which is illegal from my understanding.. so i always threaten em with such. I’ll gladly contact nintendo if they reject the dispute
@longplayarchive Well, hopefully it gets resolved soon. TH-cam just can't seem to give us a break these days without letting us pay €15,- a month to get rid of ads. I know you don't want viewers to use ad-blockers, but given how annoying TH-cam's become, i'm seriously considering it. That being said, this is, without a doubt, the *BEST* looking footage i've seen for this game! Solid 10/10! I hope you'll give the rest of the series the same treatment, as far as you haven't already done so.

Well be noted this video was done using just the regular controller. The controller functions the GBA popup screen whenever it comes up
