I've been struggling with ENBs for years and I could never figure it out because I never thought to look up tutorials until I started modding MHW seriously. You really are a life saver, thank you for this amazing video, it's saved me from graying early lol. I love how you were straight to the point and actually showed how the mods look and explained how they differ without adding to many words. Keep up the good work!
Although I knew the basics of creation kit and vortex, I've recently got a new pc and have been trying out modding my Skyrim graphics. I am finding it harder than I thought. I have to say I'm impressed by people's accumulated knowledge. I've had a missing texture and I realise I have no idea where the issue arose. Even after examining the ID in xedit and nifskope I have no idea what happened. Who took my dirt cliffs lol? So all you knowledgeable modders... I salute your expertise!
Removing exterior fog also makes a fantastic difference (especially with the issue where distant mountains turn white at sunset, foggy weather, rain, etc.). (FYI console command for this.. setfog 0,999999)
One thing that is often not talked about is how much impact ENBs has on performance, I hope you'll cover that more instead of just simply mentioning it like in this video (like how vanilla enb has the most performance friendly impact compared to the other)
Vanilla enb looks horrible. Also enb performance is incredibly unpredictable since flora and trees increase fps hit of ao and wet effects. As of recently community shaders is better if you cant run enb. It must be said enb is better, you would be better of switching to lower res textures. Like 202X downscale or using mod tools to downscale textures to 2k or 1k. With community shaders though it does leave you at mercy of weather mods more.
The reason why we use the Dynamic display blur effect to so enhance the focus of the area for graphic design and it helps for lower tier pc builds so the GPU doesn’t hard crash.

I have an ENB issue i was hoping you or any other kind soul could help me with. I can't for the life of me get the Berserky ENB to work, even though i think i have all the requirements, load order, compatibility, requirements and so on. The problem is that this ENB does't recognize the NAT weather, because in the in game weather ENB tab, it is written "weather file not set". Apparently it could be the ENB helper not functionning properly but i have the latest version installed and it seems to work perfectly when i switch to Rudy Enb for Obsidian Weathers. Any help from you or anyone would immensely be appreciated !

In my case, I used Rudy and it’s very low saturated in the directional comparison with this video. Are you also using some Reshade presets or something? How do you get this very bright, saturation and clean look? Many thanks.
Off the top of your head, is there anything you might be able to point me to? I chose the Rudy EMB and installed them all via mod organizer2 is this an ini file setting or do I need a secondary file?
@@rohandaniel311 so no it did not look as good as the video but I think it's called vortex and it is a mod manager I believe that will set up all the mods for you and download them because I know that can be confusing. I use Mo2 mod organizer 2 and it will show you if there are conflicts, vortex is something to look at though it works for fallout and Skyrim
Same, i just gave up. What's funny is that when you trying to "fix" it, you unintentionally make it worse. Spent the whole day to figure it out but no luck, damn it, my nerves already broken

_Damn..._ And I've literally just reinstalled and put in some 200+ mods for Skyrim. _So..._ Now that they are installed, can I still use ENB? Or is it a case of restarting the whole Skyrim list again? _Regardless._ If I do or don't do anything, this is a good, easy to follow, understand and very informative video. Each ENB preset will have slightly different options in the settings, it depends on the author. Vibrance is similar to saturation if you have that option
Sorry if I'm wrong, but aren't you supposed to use the binaries that were most up to date when your enb was released? I'm just comming from LE so this may just an outdated issue now.
when I'm on the ENB site to download the files, there are only option for Skyrim, Skyrim SE, and Skyrim VR, but I am playing the anniversary edition, do I just click the Standard edition download? Thanks in advance!
Hey man, I love your videos! You use PRT XII, right? So then for your weather are you only using NAT 3.0 as required by PRT XII? I'm trying to figure out how to the the same vibrancy and color like yours. I'm using ENB Cathedral Weathers with the Lite PRT XII that's compatible with all weather mods. I've installed all of your recommendations and game seems to be running decent so far but my enb menu is different and doesn't have the vibrancy feauture
Because I wasn't able to use ReShade on Genshin I fiddled with Nvidia Freestyle till I had settings I liked Sharpen + Intensity 25% Texture Details 25% Color Vibrance 10 Details Sharpen 0% Clarity 100% HDR Toning -100% Bloom 9% Brightness/Contrast Exposure 35% Contrast 35% Highlights 69% Shadows 75% Gamma 0% Genshin in-game brightness settings between the C and the E on the slider Nvidia Control Panel Digital Vibrance 70% Screen brighttness should be at 100% The same settings work with multiple different games (on Diablo I have different settings to make it more darker and atmostphereic)

Hi, I'm losing my sanity for adjust the rudy enb like what you display in 3:50 , can you please share the preset and requirement for it ? I can't make it saturate and virbrant like that with rudy , my rudy is just blurry and desaturate in some way. I need that preset SO BAD. I tried multiple presets in rudy and pair with many weather too but still no hope.
I followed your steps which is pretty easy for my low specs brain to follow and it worked... indoor... the moment i step outside the enb helper is not working, my skyrim is version 1.6.1130 and the one nexus is either for version 1.5.97 or 1.6.629 and up, I kinda confused which one should I get, any advice?

I want to install the "Silent Horizons 2" mod, is the first time im installing a ENB mod The mod only have one folder and one configuration file (both called enbseries) So I would only need to copy and paste this files to the game folder and thats it right?
My biggest issue with enb's is that indoors is far to dark. Most of the time you can't see anything, forcing you to either use a torch or fire spell. It is a real shame because the out door areas looks amazing.
IKR, I hate playing in the dark, but it also helps me see better than the daytime to see the visuals of Skyrim better. Is cabbage worth it or rudy ENB?
Thanks for the video. I really want to play with ENB and this awesome presets but I get always the messages that there is still something missing or something that doesn´t fit right in Vortex. It seems to be it is not easy to mod Skyrim actually if you have no clue at all how everything fits together.
@@ghr501able Yep I did. You had to turn off a setting in the enb settings to get rid off the blur. Also I used a mod called enb sharpen or sharpen something something can't remember to make the image crisp
try plugging in a controller (thats what i do) or you can try this mod www.nexusmods.com/skyrimspecialedition/mods/62796 ive never used it so not sure if it works though
I got a quick question. Will my mods still work if I just put the zip file into the hierarchy instead of installing through mod manager? Cuz I just did like 170 mods like that and really dont want to start over...

I am having an issue in game with using the menu I can get it to open however the cursor doesn't work properly my pc will try use weapons etc while attempting to edit. Anyone have any ideas how to fix this?

Make sure you just have the NAT weather plugin not the main NAT weather mod

I have a controller plugged in which separates the inputs. But there is a mod now that pauses the game while in the GUI made by doodlum

Hi I use berserkyr enb now but yes I still use the NAT weather plugin. Vibrancy can be called saturation, maybe it has that instead?

Pi-CHO enb is based off of silent horizon, but does it work with silent horizon? I couldn't find a download file made for SH in nexus.
PSA: Get ENB Input Disabler, otherwise you'll be moving your camera and swinging your weapon as you're messing with your settings in the GUI.

Berserkyr ENB is my fav one.
Did you have a blurry issue I can not play Skyrim because the blurry vision is that bad

Yea you can put zipped files into your mod manager where the downloads are and install them that way.

Most common is shift + enter but sometimes its different depends on the ENB preset you're using

There is only one out there, which PRT XII was made for: NAT 3.0. There are no other weather mods which will work with it.
