Ruby Ramirez likes to cruise low and slow in her 1950 Chevy Fleetline. When people see the glistening car on Bay Area streets, they sometimes assume it belongs to her husband. They couldn’t be more wrong-that beauty is all Ruby’s. The co-founder of the Califas Car Club, Ruby is one of just a few women in her local lowrider community-but with each block, she hopes to inspire others to get in on the sweet, slow fun.

Lowriders drive through a snow storm and snow pile better than a lifted trucks! My husband and I have low riders suv and cars. And we usually get 2-3 inches snow. We are by passing people with 4 x 4 and lifted truck that are stuck in ditch lol
