Furno XL is basically a G2 Bionicle Toa Master in terms of size and built design, down to the arm construction built on a separate rig connected to the standard CCBS torso bone piece, along with transparent CCBS shells and effect parts.
Absolutely a favorite of mine. I can't believe I didn't appreciate him as much as I should have when he first released. I gotta go back and build him again after work! Too bad I'm missing his cape, but you gotta add a fur collar to his cape!
I remember in the lego club magazines there was a combiner model of furno xl and chi Laval. I always wanted to build that but never had the sets, and now all those magazines are packed in some box. Maybe one day I'll get those two sets and build that thing, though I'll have to reverse engineer it from the single image. Capes make everything better, except for practicality.

This wasn't my first constraction set, but it was my first one in a long time and the one that made me fall in love with constraction MOC-making.
For me, this set was always a sign or symbol of a leader. As if Stormer had passed his leadership on to Furno
Is he the silver precursor to G2 Tahu? There's some similar proportions and techniques on display.

My favourite Lego cape is the one from CCBS Captain Phasma

I do wish that lego could have made more XL versions of some of the other main heroe, like Stringer XL, Breez XL, or best of all Serge XL 😎👍

I really disliked the Furno xl mask, but since i got him earlier this year it grew on me.

The holes on top of his helmet look like tiny eyes and I wonder if someone did a face flip for a MOC like an elder character.
