Flowmaster American Thunder Exhaust Installation for 67-72 C10 Trucks

I was hoping this was going to be a bolt on for a 72 with SBC 350 and long tuber headers, it wasn't completely. The sections provided that go from the manifold connector to the exhaust system were not flared to slide over the 2 1/2 connecter. So the most important part that connects the long tubes to the exhaust system still needed to be taken to a shop and expended and welded. Nothing like running open headers to an exhaust shop 30 minutes away through town. If I would have know this I would have just drove to the exhaust shop with open headers and had them build me a complete custom exhaust to start!

how did you get stock exhaust manifold pipes past the big tranny support. There doesn't seem to be enough room to go under them>

I love flowmaster that's all i ever use . I have 40 series 3inch single in single out on my 85 s10 2.8 and man sounds like a v8 going down the road and at idle is the best . Have a video on my channel. I'm about to buy another same type muffler for my other vehicle

you need to make this kit for a 4x4

Exhaust systems don’t change depending on whether or not your truck is 4wd. You could use the same kit on a k series truck :)
