@@redikatattack depends what you have usually cam only optimizes power and sacrifice in other areas. Many who roll race or have high high up cars tend to do a higher rpm power and cam but suffers in the lower rpm band. Manufactures will do the opposite based on how much and what rpm the car stays at majority of the time so low end punchy is usually what they put in trucks suvs and such. If you got a scat maybe worth 20 hp na but with boost you can see more. However it is quite involved and expensive for a shop to do a cam this is why you don’t see them a lot on mopars. Ls guys have to do heads cam intake and basically build the motor anyways to make good power that’s why you see ls cars with it but mopar has good parts from the factory therefore the net of power typically doesn’t make sense from a cash perspective. Now if you have done everything else then sure why not to optimize what you got. I’ve heard anything from 1500 bucks to 3k plus dyno and tune.
It's an NA 6.4 pump fuel and streetable CR! Its probably a 490-510whp Car! Its sure fun as hell....Hellcats are around 600-630whp stock! That being said, wanna a better race just a lil 100shot. FBO hellcat!? No problem, 250shot! Great build! Great vibe on both sides.

So maybe something to do with the tune/cam selection? A dyno tune is always going to better than email tune, etc. The power delivery of the HC is in the upper rpm. It was fun to see the comparison.

This is basically like a Speed Factory challenger that came out in 2012 I think. My friend had one. Was 600whp 426 HEMI. It was a fun car. NA can be just as fun as boost when built.

600 horsepower at the wheels or 600 horsepower at the crank? I threw heads and cam at my 392 and I'm putting out 501 at the wheels which is averaging 600 horsepower crank
So it’s a 392 stroker. Meaning it’s a 5.7 stroked to 392 forged bottom with a cam and head work. This is no different than a factory 6.4L with a cam, head work, and .60 more compression (10.9 V 11.5)
Shouldn’t do a stall without a gear he gotta have the stock gears w how long those gears were and he shoulda milled the heads for all the compression if he gonna stay n/a
I have a 5 Speed myself and if they were doing 40 Rolls then it’s gonna be awkward for the transmission because it’s too high for first and too low for second in the rpm. I personally get the most out of mine when doing 30s it’s perfect 1st gear 4k rpm. So yeah no he’s nowhere near 4th gear he has to be well into the triple digits to get to 4th.

Yeah 100% the 8 Speed will keep you in the power range a lot better then a 5 Speed especially in a Hellcat. I do notice that I lose it pretty bad up top a little bit of mid too basically once I get it into 100+ mph. But if he wants to beat Hellcats he needs boost at least nitrous since he did build the internals already a N/A 5.7 Base 392 Stroker fully built with out no matter what you do you are going to need boost to compete with the Hellcat. abad345hemi keep it up for us 5 Speed guys tho I love the build, looking forward to seeing you on boost so you can beat this Hellcat stock keep it up Man.

Have you raced a stock 5th Gen Camaro Zl1 ? Or tuned Supra? Let me know how much you beat them by if you beat them. I'm curious to see how your car would stack up. The Zl1 I raced made 515 wheel Horsepower and I gapped both Supra and Zl1
My 392 I have all the videos way back! Even the GT500 2012 with 550 crank I got him too. The Supra made like 460 wheel torque and 390 wheel I believe. But they weigh 3200.
You realize that just boosting a 5.7 dosent make it faster than a hellcat unless you spend a bunch of money on it too 😂 and whos to say that all hellcats in the freeworld are stock always going to be someone faster than you stay humble
That car needs better tuning or setup not working right together! That car should be a high ten car and give you a run! Even though your 700 hp the weight of the other car should make up the hp.
This guy needs a new tuner. If its not Jay Greene its no one good. I have literally seen a 3-3.5 car length difference minimum between Jay Greene and other tunes with just bolt ons. Literally 0.1% of the tuners can tune a 392 correctly, anyone who knows knows. Legitimately this guy would be beaten by e85 with LTs a10 coyotes all day according to this. I

The main thing the stroker needs is a looser converter. The shift recovery on the NAG1 is notoriously bad, especially the 2-3 shift.
