If you don't mind,what outlet did you purchase this from?
I sent mine back today because I went down a rabbit hole about fakes and clones and how the Chinese models not mean for the USA market don't get USA support or warranty work/returns and you get the run around when you need support or hardware fixed and I'm thinking now mine wasn't one of the ones that was tampered with but it was a Chinese market model.
Launch USA and UK says all the ones sold on eBay and Amazon are the Chinese market models.
I've ready stories of internal chips and boards being replaced and alot of the Bluetooth dongles being faked and some of them messing up modules and ECU ecm units and not working as good on anything besides Asian vehicles.

-Holy Crap that is a nice scanner! I love working on my truck and helping out family and friends who need help getting their vehicles going, but those fancy ones are just too costly. That scanner looks awesome! Thanks for the vid as always dude

I have the pro 5. It's by far my favorite tool
I just ordered the elite pro v+ for $717 and have the original diagun x431 2 and it's came in handy.
I have the HD PRO3S, been using it for years mostly in freightliners, HD Ford’s and friends cars and the odd cars and pickup trucks that come in the shop. I am pretty happy with it so far. You can take the plastic casing off the tablet and add a SD card for more memory. I keep the software for everything Launch offeres on it. Makes updates take a long time but I usually just let it update overnight in the shop.
Looking forward to seeing what you do with a scanner I use a lot.

You missed hitting module programming. You can change some coding functions like you were looking for. LIke in the PCM, IPC, BCM. Just wasn't looking in the right place. I use a launch everyday. Also a thinkdiag.

Have you used the online repair manual by Haynes?
From what I've been able to find out, those launch scanners have additional features that you have to pay for. Things like power balance and a few other specific function tests. It seems like you had power balance in your demo here. Is the subscription requirement for thos features true?

Here is one for you 2020 F350. Every time I turn restart the vehicle it defaults to AM, won’t connect to my phone none of the Ford Pass functions like lock, unlock remote start etc work. Last time ford pass saw vehicle was April of 2022. I think its an APIM issue what do you think? Where are you located maybe I bring it up to you.

Hey I really need your help I’m looking to buy a truck and my two options are a 2011 6.7 lariat fully loaded with 131k and they want $23k for it (this one is 316mi away so I’ll get a ride there and drive it back about $250 on fuel cost) . On the other hand i have a 2015 6.7 xlt 128k and they want $20k for it ( this one is 2,044 miles away so I will fly there and drive it back about $702 just in fuel) what would you pick

The dealer has a 2017 144k miles xlt with aftermarket wheels and wants 25k for it so 5k more than the 2015 do you Think is worth the extra 5k for the 3rd gen? The backup camera etc.. in advance thank you for answering my questions and I really take your opinion seriously

Great content, Thinking of buying a good diagnostic tool. I have two 6.0's. and will probably keep them running due to used truck prices. In your opinion would the launch have all the right diagnostic features to keep my 6.0 running or should I invest in the FORD IDS system.

@@PowerStrokeTechTalkwARod yeah 30 miles a day give or take its my daily driver and plowed snow a couple times not large lots or anything just my large driveway and my parents driveway I've been checking it it shows full and 7,000milest to E last two days says 7,500 to E
@@PowerStrokeTechTalkwARod it's 21 bought in August with 8,000 miles have put two 2.5 gallon jugs in since iv owned it last one in October it currently has 13,360 miles

I currently own the D9, also have this pro3s+ on the way...
So far I like the xtool but only has 2 year warranty...
