Like Malaysian proverb, “Tempat jatuh lagi dikenang, inikan pula tempat bermain” means that while we always memorize where we had our accidents, where we grew up, we memorize them even more. Thanks uncle Logesh. Actually, living in rural area in Sarawak, it is very rare to see Indian lifestyle. You brought new perspectives to me as Malaysian and wide experiences when you show your lives in America as well. Thanks for everything uncle Logesh and auntie Rachel❤❤❤.
I used to live on Jalan Resak in Taman Palm Grove...Whenever my granny stayed over, she and I would walk to Pak Din's then little kuih stall, and we'd dabao curry puffs, onde-onde, pisang goreng & keledek for tea. One of my best childhood memories. ❤
Wow, what a wave of nostalgia you've brought, so thank you! I lived in Palm Grove, went to La Salle Klang, and back when I was there, "Warung Pak Din" was only a cart under the tree. Din would fry his curry puffs in situ, and we'd buy freshly made piping hot flaky curry puffs from him. I'm Down Under (Melbourne) now but whenever I visit mum in Palm Grove, I wished I made time to go to all the shops there - especially Din's joint!
You are so lucky you still have your childhood food haunts around. None of mine exists anymore.Ofc Im much older than you haha but still it gets nostalgic and sad to see my own Pak Din stall being replaced by an appliance shop or a shoe store 😢 I think Logesh looks like his grandpa too Rachel 😊
Just discovered your channel. Went back to watch a few videos. Enjoyed all of it. Ur family is so full of energy, including da boys. Parenting skills 👌 excellent content. 💯
Warung Pak Din.... I used to remember when my late father fetch me from school...SM La Salle, he will stop at Pak Din Warung and buy his favourite karipap..you can really taste the chicken chunks in the karipap . At that time...warung pak din was just a small cart selling kueh only... if walk to the shoplot opposite SK Simpang Lima..if your remember...one aunty selling air..my favourite was ais kepal miss does days... Hail La Sallian
Logish I have a suggestion to make more room for your house. Your TV should be near the wall where the fish tank is. And where the TV is should be a single sitter couch placed closest to the door frame. Your 3 sitter couch should be on the other side of the wall facing the new TV position. Place the extra couch outside, you can use as a chillout bay to have coffee or tea in the morning or afternoon. So in the living room you have a 3 by 1 total 4 sitter couch arrangement. where the extra couch is you can have a nice mat or carpet with pillows where you can chill. If you have more guests just have them seated on the floor mat or carpet no problem or foldable stools that you can add on at any vacant space. Use a small square coffee table that can hold one serving tray should be sufficient. Do u really need the work station in your dry kitchen area ? People use laptops these days you can work on you dining table. If you get rid of the work station and some of your cabinets in your dry kitchen area you can have more room and use a 6 sitter dining set. Generally there is a need to get rid of stuff from time to time. Due to inflation houses are getting smaller and rooms are gettiing smaller. Therefore you need not use beds or wardrobes or drawers. Substitute them with hanger structures, containers and just mat and mattresses. Howeve if you are living in a flood bound area you may use beds and use longer couch legs and couch made of leather or pvc sheets. Use plastic materials or solid wood to prevent water damage.
Logesh. this video bring a smile to my face when i watched it over and over. Sure miss my ipoh home and msian char kway teow. omg. I tried and tired to make it here still cannot match back home. thanks for sharing ur vid.
Thanks for taking us into your childhood home. I was struck by how much it looks like a typical family home in south India. Question - how do you manage in Malaysia without ac? Does the home stay naturally cool?
i think probably every msian household will have that clock at somepoint in their life... Mine died but the 'corpse' is still here. My dad is still adamant in trying to repair it, even after 10 years hahaha You have a very nice home
omg melawis ckt i studied at ACS growing up stayed in teluk pulai for 15 years, i would always walk over to that ckt shop after school with friends to eat with our lunch money cause we wont eat the canteen food HAHA

Enjoy your time in Malaysia. Most Asian countries value education as a pathway to a good future, and your family is no exception. Safe travels.
If wolverine was from south east Asia…. His name would be Logesh😂😅
*Logesh really looks like his late Grandpa as in that portrait and Zayden really resembles Logesh to the core so all that inherited looks run deep*
You are lucky to still have your parents to go back to. Enjoy your time here. ❤
